Despite having a bad year, you've kept us all entertained. Personal loss is never easy, but your channel has been a real beacon for alien fans.

One of my wife's Christmas gifts to me was the nine-disc Alien Quadrilogy set from 2003--the one containing the Alien3 assembly cut. I got to watch it for the first time! Great times. 😊

im sorry to hear about your tragedy....i lost my dad to cancer this year. he introduced me to the aliens series. he bought me the VHS box set when i was in 8th grade. it has been...hard. i have my own kids now and i realize how much closer I am to him through that experience. I know the greatest honor I could do him is raising them well and teaching them the values he taught me. im still sad. Christmas was rough without him as he was always a fan of Christmas. we used to watch its a wonderful life every year together. I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year. and know no matter the loss, those who are not here are not truly gone. they love on through us. thanks for your hard work on your channel. if i wasnt a poor disabled vet i would donate. but the government doesnt give me much.

I've had a horrible 2023 myself - two of my oldest friends marriage fell apart, I was given a preliminary diagnosis of a tumour in my head (thankfully turned out not to be the case, but for about six months, I was living under that impression), and it turned out my father had leukemia. He died two days after his 76th birthday, just three months after diagnosis. All three of these came along in the same month, so it felt like my entire world was collapsing around me. So yes, I'll be glad to see the back of this year and look forward to some happier times.

I have to say that I greatly appreciate all that you do with this channel as well as your vulnerability in sharing what you are going through in your personal life. Alien and Aliens were and are some of the most important viewing experiences in my childhood. My mother died of brain cancer at the end of 1986 when I was 8 years old and Aliens was one of the last films that I saw in the theatre with her. She loved it. Ripley battling the horde of Aliens on LV-426 was for me symbolic of my mother having her last stand against her cancer. For years after her death, watching Aliens would give me courage to face my own fears throughout my childhood. So no matter what the pain and grief you are going through, you are not alone. There are always souls out that that have passed through that desolate Acheron and made it out stronger. You are one of them. Much love and appreciation to you and your loved ones. This was very much planned, and I got my alien boxset ready prior to the day, and spent Christmas taking a deep-dive into this wonderful franchise. A pure feast for the eyes, which was way better that stuffing my face full of turkey. one of the best Christmas's ever - long may this franchise continue and grow...!

As a decades old Aliens fan I have serious doubts about anything connected to Disney, and of course 20th Century is now a Disney company, the people greenlighting anything under that banner are Disney. Look what they did to Star Wars and the MCU since Phase 3 finished? Although I loved Newt in Aliens, I do NOT want a heavy kid presence in anything Aliens, or Predator for that matter. These should be just for us adults.

I just picked up "Aliens Dark Descent" on sale, and lemme tell you, it's GREAT! Having an absolute blast with this lovingly created squad based experience. If you've been sleeping on this one, go on pick it up.

I've had a rough year myself. My mother had to start kidney dialysis, and has been in and out of the hospital most of the last half of the year. I was laid off from my job, and went back to a previous job to find it worse. To top it off, my girlfriend ghosted me. I've found new happiness with my own channel reaching 500 subscribers and travelling to a new convention. Hopefully 2024 will be better for us all.

I am a massive fan of anything Alien and at Xmas time I got myself a small miniature used as a USS Sulaco tile during certain POV scenes from film Aliens, and decided to create a cool frame to display it among my other props of various films.
