The fact that Abasov has two draws to Nepo but is losing to everyone else might be a critical factor down the stretch.

"So this is the guy who doesn't even belong in the tournament, and he plays perfect every move and he still loses." Imagine being 114th best in the world at something as widely played as chess, being a grandmaster when you're still high school age, finally making it to the big stage after exceeding expectations in the world cup and landing fourth place and then getting destroyed in a tournament like this.

I lost in under 10 moves today... I think I could have stretched the game out to at least 12 moves and make myself look better.
