As much as we want the Endeavour in India, one thing is clear; even if Ford does bring CKD cars to India, they won’t be able to undercut the Fortuner’s pricing in the market. And the Next-Gen Fortuner will be coming in 2025-2026 as well. At that time yes the Fortuner will be more costly than the Endeavour (if Ford does bring it back). The problem Ford faced in India was quite clear, the Keyboard warriors wanted a Ford over the Toyota Counterpart but when it came to signing the dotted line the buyers who were actually buying the car prefer Toyota over the Ford counterpart. And once trust is lost, it’s damn hard to regain it…

The storage space on the dashboard in front of the co-driver is very practical and does not detract from the beauty of the dashboard. The model coming to India is also desire to have this facility.

Basically It’s a ranger right ? I see many rangers these days here in UAE. Not seen the endeavor so far.. In Australia, SA, UK, Thailand, Philippines and the Middle East the main mid size SUV / light truck competition is between the Ford Ranger / Everest / Endeavor , Mitsubishi Triton / Montero sport / Pajero sport and Toyota Hilux /Fortuner.. In India sadly we have only the Fortuner whereas the other 2 are way superior.. ❤

I don't think they should launch larger SUVs for the Indian market. USA has extremely wide roads while Indian roads are relatively smaller so I feel the current sized SUVs are enough here we don't need larger ones just improve the power and reliability here

Finally someone who speaks the truth that Ford isn't coming to India. I'm tired of the clickbaits from other car "enthusiasts". We have an Ecosport at home and even if Ford comes back to India, we'll never buy one because the trust is now lost.

They ALWAYS say that the car that ISNT the Toyota is actually better than the Toyota, but nothing is going to stop people from buying the Toyota more often, it just has that sense of being a Toyota that no other company can match.

I Feel like Ford will return to India, It's a market that's constantly growing and a brand like Ford would not want to miss an opportunity to cash in. But I feel like with the financial hit the company took in their previous venture they'll be wise with the strategy of re-entering the market. How to Do it, what to do and where to do it. With both the new endeavour and ranger twin being spotted in India recently in Chennai confims that the company is keen about it, but would prefer to maintain silence till everything is done. And in terms of trust, I feel like Ford would have the backing of enthusiasts and ford owners that would be their investment to return. The fact that it still offers service and parts to its customers is a promising sign that other brands have failed to do. With the Indian buyers now being better informed of everything. I believe ford would not face any trust issues rekindling their relationship with their Indian customers.
