GM is updating all of its big three-row crossover-style SUVs this year, having started with the ‘24 Chevrolet Traverse and now progressing to this, the new 2024 GMC Acadia. It’s bigger than the last one, once again rejoining its Chevy Traverse and Buick Enclave brethren on GM’s biggest front-wheel-drive SUV platform, so it gains a lot of space inside and shares all of its underbits with those models - same engine, same transmission, same power output even. It even gets a newly off-road-capable AT4 version that can actually leave the pavement and get you back successfully. So why go for the Acadia instead of the less expensive Traverse? The GMC is much nicer inside than the Chevrolet, with a better multimedia screen, much more luxurious cabin and more standard equipment, too. It might cost a bit more, but you’re getting a lot for your money here.
