In this video we take a look at the new 2024 Hoyt RX-8 Bow. We go over all the specs and look at all the new changes for 2024 with integrated sights and accessories. We then shoot the bow for performance, speed, noise and feel.

Hoyt felt better on the shot than the lift but the modularity and weight of the Lift gives it the edge. I’ll wait to see what Hoyt does next year before I buy a new bow. Hope Hoyt figures it out

Fair review! Finally someone who states clearly and without emotion that the Hoyt tuning system is the worst of the top shelf bow manufacturers. I have an RX-7, and it has not shot a clean bullet hole straight from the box! Going thru a very painful and time consuming warranty process now, I’ll keep you posted on if Hoyt does the right thing or not and replaces/upgrades my lemon.

I like the new cams. Reminds me a little of the 09 PSE GX cams.....except slower.

I wonder if Hoyt will ever change their riser design?

I’m betting next year they will. Ever since they started the RedWrx series, each time they change the riser design, the number jumps up by 2. The RX -1 was first with its own riser design. Then the RX-3,4 & 5 all had the same riser, then the next bow was the 7 and that’s when the riser changed to the current one.

Maybe he means the Tec Riser design? I personally love that look, makes a ton of mechanical sense to me, effectively makes the handle, which is the narrowest and weakest part of a riser, the thickest and strongest.
