you would have to have the latest model to have all those features, but it should have hill hold assist they have been doing that on that model since at least 2016 , I hade a 16 reg i20

I'm not sure how I can tell if it has hill hold assist, it does seem to roll back when on a slop, does it matter how steep it is, or should it even hold on something like a 1:10 hill ? Actually never having had it before. I've gone and looked up exactly what it is. I'll have to give it a try next time I'm out and about :). sounds like it's just when starting for a couple of seconds, I thought it was like when at red lights on a slope where i always use my handbreak.

you have to be on a slope for it to work , stays on for 2 seconds enough time for you to bite on the clutch, my 2016 car did not work as good as on my 2022 car i have now@@harag9

That is nuts when you consider the prices from just a few years ago. This is why the used car market is so important to those who cannot go the way of a new car.

I was very happy with the full ICE version of the i20. The N-Line is now available as an ICE version and has had the facelift also.

Thank you for your comment. So the 2024 i20 comes with the non-hybrid 1.0L petrol engine. The N-Line trim is still available in the UK with the mild-hybrid. But this is not the revised version. Hope that helps.

​@@AutoBears Thanks for replying. You beat me to it as I have just ordered the Premium version this very day (in part thanks to your video) and I was going to post a comment re the mild hybrid. The salesman explained that customers were confused with the terminology that Hyundai and other manufacturers use - apparently under the impression in this case that they were getting a full hybrid setup and not really clear what the technology was achieving. He also said that in effect the 48v battery powers the digital effects on the dashboard and not much else. At least that was his version of events - perhaps playing down the mechanical problems that I understand the mild hybrid was having.

Ive got 2022 i20 mild hybrid load of garbage , dealers told me hyundai had to many comebacks withit also another reason why they kicked it in the head was because the goverment extended petrol engines till 2035@@Wotsitorlabart

@@ronair5 Interesting. I had planned to buy a 2 year old i20 mild hybrid to replace my 9 year old i10 but for various reasons ended up with a brand new mid range 2024 version with the 1 litre turbo. Looks like I may have dodged the bullet. It's a good car, but after the comparatively basic i10 trying to get my head around all the bells and whistles the i20 comes with is giving me a permanent migraine.

Just take it slow with learning the ins and outs of using the computer side of it , I am still learning still after 2 years of my car , I have just ordered the premium model of the car in automatic in lucid lime with a black roof only trouble is its a factory order so can take up to 6 months arrive , I just wish they would give you a spare wheel and jack but there is a company Ive found who sell them around £130 complete , enjoy your car@@Wotsitorlabart

Thank you for your comment Chris. I was not aware of this and although I had heard of customers having a couple of issues, was not aware it was a major issue.

Yes, I used to work for Kia in Chester and an ex work colleague has told me they've had to replace many engines on mild hybrid models due to the electric motor/generator failing, and Hyundai share the exact mechanicals.

Ive got a 2022 n-line , I have to charge the battery every week, dealer cant fix it and told me to live with it

ok you saying that , if you just leave the car on dealers doorstep then you havent got a car to use, I am sorry i used this dealer , the dealer i use before was great only trouble there 40 miles away from me, but good news they offered my a great price for mine and Ive ordered a new premium model in auto , in lucid lime and black roof with lime interior trim, only trouble its a factory order and could take up to 6 months to arrive, also i qouted a carwow price i had to them so they matched it and ive saved £3000

In fact everything thats born or are created have a end ... Electric is expensive not popular no station to charge the cars is a mess ... if the thing stay in that way ... I will buy thermic ... or not buy at all ... when need a car I call a taxi for vacations I rent one ! ... and i will save a lot , lot of money !!! Inflation, war, speculation, corruption this is why the prices rise ... Be happy !
