2024 IS HERE. CONTINUING THE CLEARING ON THE COTTAGE ROAD

Wow I can’t believe it’s actually 2024 already!! Time is flying by and there are so many things I want to accomplish in the next 5 years. Obviously finishing the work on the cottage property is one of those items and it starts with the road. First step is the clearing. Bauer gives me a hand in this one until he falls asleep on the job!

Road looks so much better with trimming back the growth. You did a better job than usual, due to that excellent foreman helping you out! I love that Bauer wants to be with you in the trucks and equipment. Memories being made. Happy New Year Tyson!

Good job you took that danger tree down, it looked OK from the outside. Every time you take something down alongside the road it looks better. Looks to me by the time Bauer grows a bit more and is not comfortable on your lap you will have another driver to help you out.

Do you sell the wood for timber or pulp wood? Can you make enough from the wood to cover your expense of clearing the property and maintaining your equipment? You made a wonderful find when you bought that property and are blessed to have it for your family and friends to enjoy for generations to come.

I have been selling logs to a local mill but I am very close to purchasing my own saw mill to use for future projects and repairs to this this one.

A grapple sure would be nice. I'm putting the 175 Nisula shear on my 35. You can remove the blade and block off the tilt function and you have a grapple. As you said, so much easier from any angle. Happy new year to your whole family and crew.
