⁠@@KentuckyFriedSushiall depends on what Bobrovsky shows up, and what Vasilevsky shows up. If it’s the regular season versions, then Florida wins. If it’s the old school Vasilevsky and if Bobrovsky folds, Tampa will pull it out.

Important to mention florida takes a ton of penalties. Thatll be the difference. Florida likes to get under teams’ skin. Tampa too disciplined like vegas last year

The chances for a Canadian team to win the Cup this year are the best its been in many years . Toronto , Winnipeg , Vancouver and Edmonton are all formidable teams . Go Canada !

Boston's defense is severely underrated and really, really good. They play boring 3-2 or 2-1 hockey games but it's been effective. I think this series though the Bruins scoring should be boosted due to the unknown goaltending with Toronto and their bad penalty kill I got Bruins in 6

He also got the power play wrong, the Bruins' power play is somehow better than Toronto's. That combined with the defense and goaltending differential in quality for Boston should make this a Boston-favored series

I could easily see Vegas winning, they are a clutch playoff performer. Hertl is getting more comfortable, and Stone is returning, so they will be a really tough out. Although I am dubious about the goaltending with Vegas, and have more confidence in Otter.

@@pahul79 yeah, the stars just rolled out the same exact team. except added better players at each position than what you listed: duchene, tanev, and...well, you're right, we don't have anything like hertl with his .5 ppg, we're screwed, lol. we also play our whole roster all year and don't bank players but your fanbase would accept that, as you've all been raised by hookers and blackjack dealers

Jets/Avs - One thing to remember about the special team stats are they are based on the entire year. Since the the addition of Monahan and toffoli and Valardi being healthy jets crush those as well. Jets in 5.

As a Kings fan I'm happy this will be the first year we go into the playoff's healthy. Last year Fiala and Vilardi were injured going in and the year before that Doughty was out. Going in with a full team will be nice.

Great video! I agree with most of your assessment, but I differ from your stance on the Isles v Canes matchup. I think the Isles will beat them in 5-6 games. It'll be a tight series, but the Isles will pull through.

It has not been 3 years since the Leafs last beat the Bruins in the regular season. November 5th, 2022 (and they had won 4 straight going back to November 6th, 2021).

I completely agree & actually, I was thinking the same thing (I am a fan of Kris Knabloch, but, I also questioned why he was putting Skinner in goal, at the very least, with nothing to play for). Except for Riddick, if I'm remembering right, played the prior game, I don't know why it happened & likewise, I thought that it could hurt Confidence in the team & in Skinner (I'm glad that he was pulled after the 1st period, but, was the damage already done, is the question). Let me know what you think

All depends if Bread shows up. He was a ghost last postseason. I have more confidence in him this year, though, he seems more confident and comfortable. Their biggest challenge would be in round 2 vs the Canes, so I’m hoping the Isles somehow push it to 7 games and rough the Canes up a bit, so they are worn down going into round 2.

I had the same 4 in the West. People sleeping on Peg. They have the best goalie and the best team D in the nhl. They only surrendered 199 goals in 82 games. Colorado will have their hands full.

And Colorado is questionable in both goaltending and defence. And the Jets’ offence hasn’t been incredible over the year, but their stats in that area must be much better after adding Monahan and Toffoli.

Big difference between Toronto and Boston is that the Leafs might have better offense but the Bruins can choke them out with a goalie rotation and solid D. On the other hand, Pasta and DeBrusk can essentially have their way with the massive holes in Toronto’s back end.

Winnipeg has phenomenal reinforcement to step in. They’ve all bought into a system that is very hard to play against. If Helly goes down, Brossoit is there. Need a D man? We got 2. Perfetti can’t wait to get out there and he’s earned it. I could go on and on

East Round 1 Florida beats Tampa in 7 Toronto beats Boston in 7 Washington beats New York in 7 New York beats Carolina in 5 Round 2 New York beat Washington in 5 Toronto beats Florida in 7 Round 3 Toronto beats New York in 6 West Round 1 Dallas beat Vegas in 6 Winnipeg beats Colorado in 7 Nashville beats Vancouver in 6 Edmonton beats LA in 6 Round 2 Dallas beats Winnipeg in 6 Edmonton beats Nashville in 6 Round 3 Edmonton beats Dallas in 7 Finals Edmonton beats Toronto in 7 This probably won’t happen but I like the idea of Toronto beating Boston and Florida to get some revenge and you can’t have playoffs without some drama Washington beating New York would be epic and a all Canadian final would destroy Bettman. It douse feel like it’s Edmontons year we will see.

Hmm, you got some stats wrong w/ the Bruins vs Leafs. Boston's power play & PK are both better than Toronto's. Toronto is better at 5x5 scoring. Boston's defense is *MUCH* better than Toronto's and so too is their goaltending. I think there is a whole lot of wishcasting around Toronto's chances rn based solely off their forwards ignoring roughly half of the rest of the hockey team structure (defense and goaltending, which can easily take over games)

islanders are awesome. dude, they basically had a 10 game and a 6 game winning streak both this season. almost every single forward the islanders have has scored at least 20 goals in a season with some scoring 30 this season and even 40 goals in years past. Goaltending obviously islanders are elite carolina is not. on D dobson is a stud, and then pelech pluck and romanov are not slouches. Islanders in 5.

Playoffs and regular season games are vastly different beasts. Toronto didn't have really have anything to play for down the stretch as they were kind of locked into #3. I'm tired of the people who constantly count Toronto out solely on the past seasons. So you're basically killing your own argument with your own take.

With Tampa yo ucan't say the goalies numbers were not that great because Tampa has played the cap cheat game meaning they don't have their best team in the regular season.This year Kucherov was there all year and had a big year so with the puck in the opposing end more often means an easier year for the goalie. Last yerar Kucherov looked very tired but this year going in the last game he looks really good not tired" so Tampa will be moving on. The NUMBERS do not matter because your playing ONE team over 7 games and NOT playing bottom teams to pad your stats. Goalie stats are lol pointless goalies are as good as their team.Nobody cares about Swayman it is all about the TEAM.

Leafs are in a good position playing on the road in a packed building absent of Leafs fans. If they can keep the media out of their heads this is the best scenario for them to steal a game on the road. They will then give back that advantage with a disappointing 3rd game. Then we shall see if they can keep their heads focussed to finish the job. Leafs in 6!
