Desicated coconut is a very finely cut coconut.Castor sugar is a finely ground sugar. It is finer than granulated suger but courser than powdered / icing / confectionary sugar. One of my favourite things to make with coconut is Impossible Pie. Ingredients 4 Eggs 1/2 Cup Plain Flour 1 Cup White Sugar 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Essence 1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine 2 Cups Milk 1 Cup Coconut Method Put all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with either a wooden spoon or a hand mixer. It does not matter if there are small pockets of flour or chunks of butter. Pour into a greased pie/quiche dish. Bake at 180c for 1 hour or until the centre is firm to touch. The pie ill divide into a pie base, custard centre and coconut top.

At school the schools spruce up green beans by adding ranch dressing packs. I personally haven’t made it this way at home yet, however, I always love them at school. I always ask if the green beans is ranch green beans. If the green beans is I ask for extra green beans. My mom would make green beans the way my sister in law would make green beans the way my stepbrother will eat. A can of green beans with mushrooms, minced onions, and a can of diced tomatoes. Of course you’d drain the canned mushrooms and tomatoes. My mom can’t stand green beans anymore after only eating canned green beans for about 2 or 3 years. Basically any canned vegetables she can’t stand.

I thought castor sugar was icing sugar (Im also in Canada)
@JessicaWanders

That's what I suspected but when I googled it it said not to use icing sugar as a replacement! (It was a close call actually lol) I'm pretty sure it's the berry sugar that I see sometimes...

You would think so! But I imagine that they mean gluten-"like." It definitely says that it is gluten free :)

You would like the desiccated coconut I think. The desiccated coconut is not sweetened and it is not flaky like sweetened flaked coconut.
