@@Gatz22 Nothing wrong with enjoying episode 7. It wasn't amazing, but it was still a decent movie, that established likeable characters and did everything it needed to do. It's episode 8 that ultimately wrecked the entire sequel trilogy. NOW people like to act as If they never enjoyed episode 7 in the first place.

I think we have to be careful of calling people who like DSW trash. I am saying this as a GLSW fan. I stopped watching DSW after the 3rd episode of Ashoka. There are many people that loved Ashoka. There is nothing wrong with them. By saying DSW fans are “trash” or “sheep.” We are no different than Disney and Hollywood shills that call everyone who doesn’t like everything DSW “babies, bigots, evil, etc.” To be fair there are some who are but that’s not the majority of people who hate DSW. The same can be said about those who love DSW in 2024.

I’m so tired of the respect that people simply don’t have any more. In the old days people could have a normal conversation about something and have a good and nice discussion. We would listen to each other and respect the viewpoints of that other person even if they don’t align with your own. We don’t all have to like the same things, but these days people seem to force one’s opinion on other people. And when you don’t agree you get called names. On both sides of the coin. I have been a Star Wars fan for over 35 years and I have never been more ashamed to call myself that then the past few months. I hated the Last Jedi: with a vengeance. But never have I disrespected someone else’s opinion about that film. Because: why would I? Just because someone else likes something that I don’t? Every franchise will have things that you either like or don’t like. But at least respect other people’s opinions. This video? It’s an absolute disgrace and an insult. I respect the fact that you don’t like anything that Disney Star Wars has brought out. But would I call you trash because of that? Never in a million years. So what gives you the right to insult other fans that do like it?

I totally agree with you on this, he said you respect me I’ll respect but started the video with utter disrespect. Acting like somehow stars wars was the best shit ever under Lucas is wild, its fans that caused him to sell it in the first place due to their hate for the prequels. All this revisionist history like Disney killed Star Wars is insane. Lucas “killed” it years ago to most fans. I enjoyed the prequels and have been a defender since they came out. What I won’t do is call people who dislike them names. I had a whole debate with someone who said it “ruined their childhood” remember when fans were saying that left and right? I also remember fans rejoicing when Disney bought Star Wars from Lucas too. Matter of fact I’m gonna correct myself, fans “killed” Star Wars.

@@starkraven1148 that is exactly it. Fans can be passionate: and there is nothing wrong with that. I will be the last to admit that there haven’t been projects that I expected from myself as well. But I also respect the fact that there are fans who do like the things that I don’t. In the end you can’t please everyone. I always look at this like you have a favourite tv show that has been going on for several seasons. There are going to be bad episodes, which is pretty much unavoidable. But I always keep an open mind for anything new, and more importantly: I respect everyone’s take on it. You don’t like it? That’s totally fine with me. But to go an a hate campaign and actively attack other fans or talk people out of watching something because you don’t like it? That is when you will lose my respect. In the end Star Wars has been around for a long time now: some changes I’ve liked, some I didn’t, and there will be more of that in the future. For sure.

I stopped tuning into modern Star Wars programs after Obi-Wan Kenobi. I still love playing Battlefront 2 and all the movies before the sequel trilogy. George Lucas shouldn't have sold his franchise.

For Andor, it was only like 2 episodes that I liked that had tension. Other than that overrated show. I was wrecked with the last Jedi, but Obi wan completely destroyed any hype for anything coming out with Star Wars. Ashoka was mid. And they know us Star Wars fans will forgive the shows when a Cad bane cameo pops up or a clone wars flash back hits us. I’m done with that. The Acolyte it’s writing is bad.

Hello, Jody. I stopped watching The Acolyte after episode 1, because i knew what time it was. Star Wars has been TRASH for years. Granted, some of it, some of it i enjoyed, but the VAST majority i did not like. Let me be clear about this, we will never get something like Empire Strikes Back again. Out of all the new Star Wars material, my favorite is - Rogue One and The Mandalorian. The rest of that stuff almost made me walk in front of a bus, because they use to get me hyped...but NO MORE. If it's a show, you have one episode to impress me...or im done. If it's a movie and the trailer don't look good, I'm not paying to see it...I'll watch it later. No more automatically going through a whole series, no more automatically paying for a movie. Unless friends invite me or put something on, it won't get any of my time, if the show fails me, or the trailer fails me. As much as i didnt care for the storytelling of the prequels, give me that all day over 99% of Disney Star Wars. TERRANCE OUT

@@MrJustwatchin9 well you said everything else is “aight” meaning those 2 were aight, id say ashoka was a little more lore destroying than obiwan while both show’s disappointing the way sabine survived a saber with a bacta bandaid or learned to use force push and pull easily after not even being able to move a cup and just thinking about using the force for a couple days, if that doesnt lore break then idk what does and i already thought baby yodas force abilities were ridiculous

@@jilliebean6312 I’m not mad at you for feeling that way I can definitely side in you on some of that. Keep in mind tho that baby Yoda is 50yrs . His growth and development is not like anything you’ll see in any sci-fi or fantasy content so i give that a pass because where he lacks in size he makes up for strength in the force and he will become more helpful to his dad/master and not dead weight. Grogu wouldn’t have worked in the long run if he didn’t become such an asset to mando. But I can see where patience falls short due to his aging ability and we probably won’t get to see him grow up in the mandalorian. But yea because of that I’m over Grogu 🤷‍♂️ we could possibly get a more mobile iteration of him in the sequel trilogy era.

@@MrJustwatchin9 he just turns the force into a mcguffin and actually gives rey excuses like yeah well if your midichlorian count is high enough you can force heal accidentally very easily😐🥱and i also dont like how this is the first time we get beskar in live action and disneys idea is to just make it op laser proof armor when the old lore was its laser resistant not laser proof it makes it absolutely unbelievable that any of the mandalorians were killed by storm troopers which they somehow were in the show. beskar is supposed to be just laser resistant , i like how in acolyte they introduce cortosis but its not super OP and has limits its not super durable it just absorbs energy better than any other material so makes a saber kinda useless but it would be very weak against a normal melee weapon
