A fixed raise of 200$ a year is far better for ones survival it's never stopped amazing me that citizens continue to allow the mfkn govt to dictate to us how much of OUR money we should get every yr. They probably sent it to Ukraine or to Israel.

Not nearly enough. Gas is over 5 bucks a gallon. 3.2% will not fill my vehicle or get me a loaf bread

You have to love VA math.........from 90-100% there is a $1500 dollar difference! But from 80 to 90 it's just 250! Nuts!

Not only that, it takes a lot to go from 90 to 100%. I’m actually at 91% with everything rounded up. Two 50’s, two 30’s, and three 10’s.

I just got my rent COLA increase and they said to me when I got ready to sign it, we tried to go as low as we could. Haha 😢. It is going to be 8.4% increased ( over 300.00 more to pay 💰 per month 🤑😖)

I believe the reason we are not getting the 6.2% raise planned previously is because we are now sending even more money to Israel 🤬 We already give Israel around 17 billion yearly including military aid. Stop treating Israel as it is our responsibility to fund their illegal occupation of Palestinian land 😤 And what do we get in return from them, Nothing!! On top of that they are the only Anti-Jesus group on the planet 😡 Take care of our veterans not Israel!!

I am Ahimbisibwe Noah Mugisha in Uganda claiming Burn pit compensation. I served as a security guard in camp Liberty West VBC -Iraq. I served as a security guard. After returning to mi country I got vision and hearing impairment. One of my eyes is completely blind and I believe. I live in pain. I even have a breathing complex. My dependents are suffering. And I believe it was all caused by exposure to burn pit. Thanks for awakening videos..

I received a Total Knee replacement 15 yrs ago . I had 40% before it . 15 yrs later (7months ago) I received a second Knee replacement (Both knees) ,but this time the VA sent me for evaluation of the new surgery ànd it gave a total of 70% . Two weeks ago I went for a second test , but for the surgery 15 yrs ago , because it was done in P.R. and there were no records in CA . Now I'm just waiting.

COLA is still too low. Not keeping up with inflation. 100% should definitely be the median household salary in the U.S. 3700 is too low for someone that is P&T.

Glad to see others getting an increase, even a small one. My VA Disability payment is deducted from my military retirement check 100%.

That was before, better check the VA about your payment. The VA refunded all the money they took out from his military pension. Check it out you may have some money coming your way because of that deduction.

Hello, I am a 100% disabled vet and I have a child over the age of 21 who is a permanent dependent. They are on my Tricare permanently but not on my VA. Is there a clause that allows for this with VA disability? Any help with a direction to check into this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I’m confused I’m at 100% and I make now in 2023, $4,184 as a single veteran w no dependents? With the increase I’ll make a bit more right? Those charts don’t add to my pay?

Medicine that keeps me alive is excess in cost. (No recovery, no transplant, and causes other sufferings and disabilities) The VA will not prescribe they want to give me something that makes me sick and does not work. Forced insurances should be capped for disabled veterans they keep on raising excessively higher each year. And of course stuff that you need that you cannot raise in a pot is excessively high. It seems like it is not for us to survive but to give the extra money to greedy people that keeps raising prices. Did you ever think coffee would be $18. I'm in so much pain today I can hardly stand it. However, I want to thank all the people in the past that has helped me it is much appreciated. I work hard daily to have best days. i will have to wait until the SMC disability rates come out. i'm at $4054 now for SMC-S but they never announce what those rates will be and this is my first year getting SMC. i'm assuming i would just add 3.2 percent to the 4054 a month im getting now, but i'm not entirely sure how it works for SMC. If it's base 100% disability at $3622 + 3.2% or my SMC-S at $4054 + 3.2% I'm hoping it's the latter calculation increase.

9/22/23, Completed a C&P Exam for a new claim, Residuals TBI. Saw an update on my VA.Gov portal if anyone knows what this means. 4 identical entries saying: you or someone else submitted Evidence 356. Oct 11, 2023. Much appreciated.

That just means evidence was submitted in your case. If you are having a VSO help you it could have been them. It’s no big deal. Very standard.

I’ve been fighting for a rating for my TBI since 2011 I’m exhausted. The Va acknowledges it but that’s it they keep pushing meds that makes me sick. Guess they playing the waiting game. I did have a C&P not once did the doctor look at me. The entire time he kept his head down looking at the papers like I was an embarrassment. Then asked 2 questions that was it. Several months later got a letter stating they acknowledge the TBI but claim was denied

@@4flats4u not sure who or if anyone helped you with your claim. I don’t know if these attorneys work like injury attorneys; they don’t get paid unless you get an award, but I would suggest you contact your nearest DAV office and maybe go meet with them. Our local DAV is very helpful.

I’m rated at 10%. My amount received per month is $175 and change in 2023. Now it is posted to be $171 and change. A 4$ loss. Where is my COLA increase of 3.2%? Am I missing something?

Nothing unless they were 100% for over 10 years after rating. It is a different pay rate just like survival benefits on military retirement.

I am a 100% service Connected and Vietnam Veteran for last 20 years.My family too have Educational Benifits and additional Benifits like CHAMPVA. 3.2 % is Okay increase Inflation will not last. Save your money and do not take too many Traveling, Folks. If you need more Money, take An extra work like Security Guard. Security Guard in California starts at $27. Per hour easy job. Veterans Complained too much.

Well this still overall is crap there compensation amounts from 70 and up it is bit miss gyided that 80 percejt is closer to 70 percent then you see a massive jump at 90 to 100. And veterans trying to get to 100 will be literally stomped.on because of the new ruling qnd changes which i dont blame them. Alot of veterans thqt are receiving 100 really dont qualify but veterans that sgould qualify are put down to.lower percentages i see a mqjor headache brewing on horizon. The va already is going to habe a nightmare on there hands as i saw a social security person doing c&p exams. Bow va falls undwr the umbetalla but it is separte from ss. Bow how is the va getting away with this there not qualified doctors so how and why is the va getting away with this big injustice to veterans. I know it happens but they shut there ears and let it happens. So abother injustice to vetrrans that i think they should be sued. Veteran put there lives on the line some never came back from combat,these social.security peiple have no business being in the va hospital period, they are not va. So with the va changing.the waay you get compted then the va should not hire anyone fornhogh level jobs thay habe notnserved innthe military periid. Maybe us veterans cqn push that back ob them see how they.like big changes.

New York, California, and Hawaii are some of the most expensive states. A place like Texas, Alabama, and Florida are cheaper for vets and are more Vet friendly overall. Not everything comes down to your hate of immigrants, mate. Maybe the people who pass laws should be held accountable. Vets should hold more protests imo..(A country of immigrants hating on immigrants... only in America, lol)

I am a vietnam veteran and was rated at 80% i have had cancer 3 times twice on my tongue and prostate cancer they said the prostate cancer was from agent Orange but they never gave me any compensation for the tongue caner i don't want try and get 100% because i had friend do that and they knocked him down FJB
