Great Video! The only thing that I think you looked over is that the Tutto is the only fixed gear frame I know that gives you the option to run a belt instead of a chain since you can open up the frame. As someone who dailys a bealt since this year instead of a chain I can say that for me it's a game changer. No lubing a chain, no oil stains on your legs or pants and best of all: It's so silent! I wished more manufaturers would offer a belt compatible frameset so more people could experience this beautiful, oil-free silence.

Most people really don’t understand why Zach hates on Cinelli. They literally try to sell you overpriced bikes that you can get somewhere else cheaper and properly priced for what you are getting. It’s literally the supreme crowbar of bikes, when you can just go to your local hardware store and get a perfectly priced crowbar. And no I’m not cheap lmfao, I just like paying for honest quality.

Here in Europe the cheapest and best way to build/buy a fixed gear but also for any track/road bike is to find a vintage frame. The first fixie I ever built was made with a bianchi supercorsa road frame from the 70s i found on the Facebook marketplace from a seller near me for 150 euros. And a set of dodicicicli wheels with sturmey archer hubs I bought on eBay for about 80 euros. It was nothing to write home about and the road frame was low so I sometimes touched with the pedals on the ground when cornering. But the geometry and quality of the frame made it incredibile to ride around, especially considering I spent less than 400 euros on the whole thing. Including a nice smp saddle and a used miche primato crankset. There’s a ton of bikes you showed in this video that I love but I think there’s a lot of cheaper ways to get into fixies without going to your local wall mart

I have the State Undefeated II in black prism. Absolutely killer bike. I'm 6'2" and the 58cm with the longer top tube is perfect fit. Extremely fast and very comfortable. I ride Cervelo R5 and Yeti SB115 for road and trail, and this Undefeated powers through turns like nothing else. the geo is dimed for speed. I've I ride hard and thrash pretty good, and the wheelset and crankset can handle everything I've thrown at it. I have a Wabi classic and AC nature boy and the state just is so comfortable and just straight up flies compared to the other two(which are stellar bikes on their own). The economy of the faster bike goes a long way. I think a C rating is harsh, review and and rate bikes you've ridden. Can't take a list seriously when you're basing it on looking at pics and a spec sheet.

Well it was a 3 out of 5 coin toss game because I did want it but went with the PINARELLO X TRACK instead. I just yesterday put my deposit on it too. Why the PINARELLO? Well......it is a PINARELLO after all. Lol I may just regret my choice, but I doubt it. Having said that, my current work bike, a Surly Steamroller will be replaced before the year is out. It will be replaced with a Dolan Pre Cursa. I’m stoked to get it myself. Light, quick and responsive, carbon fork, what’s not to like? Rhetorical question! Lol There are many many velodromes that use them as their rentals. That means 1000’s of km’s on them with different weighted bodies and riding styles too. You just cannot go wrong. Plus a real track pedigree to boot to buddy. Ahh shit, I may just order one now. Lol

the nice thing about being in the fixed gear community is that you will meet people who will sell you parts, you can save hundreds on a better bike

Out of all the BLB bikes, the so-ez was definitely the only one I would go for, the others just look cheap/horrendous geometry. Riding fixed is hard enough, why not cut yourself some slack and make it just a tiny bit easier! Plus if you can use it with mudguards then that'd make a good commuting fixed gear.....

Wherein Zach Gallardo comes incredibly close (again) to convincing me to buy a Wabi. Sadly, I am still not an n+1 guy.

My Big Block's chainstay cracked all the way through right by the dropouts. Apparently, I'm not the only person with this issue. Nothing that dramatic happened to it (no big crashes or anything). Maybe they've fixed whatever causes this.

I'd add, outside of Japan, you're the only one that I've run across that knows the correct pronunciation for 'Tange'.

The all city big block is definitely worth the hype that thing is so god damn fun and zippy. I have a 58 and it’s 18.5 pounds Breakless so don’t let the high price point 41 chromoly turn you off.

I have a 6ku track fixie and it’s good enough, it never breaks down and rolls on and on, I get out and ride, someday, somehow it has to be good enough for the average person, I don’t need fancy.

Thanks for the video. As I live in Europe I unfortunately don’t have your price advantage. However, thanks of your video I now know Wabi. Nevertheless, I also like the looks of the Schindelhauer Siegfried Road. Have ever ridden one or do you know the company? How are the specs compared to the Wabi classic? www.schindelhauerbikes.com/en/Bikes/Current/Siegfried-Road.html
