Nice list. Sprinkler repair is a great one. Had to hire a repairman last year, and there were very few that specialized specifically in that area near me.

I work in electrical field - since 2012. Since 2015 I have been working for myself (1099). And have been doing mostly commercial or industrial electrical. The competition is big specially with all the illegals working for cash. I started to consider other business that can bring more income and growth. Thank you for sharing this information

Please, please, please do a video for services for women over 60. I do swim lessons in the summer and need something comparable for the fall and winter. Maybe a niche kids transportation to activities. Pick up and drop off only.

Organize IV parties. Many people utilize IV services for health maintenance. Find a provider and make a referral agreement with them. Organize a party of 4-6 or more in one location at one time and get a referral fee.

Not sure how Commercial electrician is a 3 on the easy scale . It takes 4-6 years to become a certified electrician and atleast 7,000-8000 hours to complete the apprenticeship
@timrichardbusiness

That is likely why the keyword is so easy to rank for. Harder businesses to get into are often lower competition. That difficulty scale is just for how hard the keyword is to rank for in Google search.

A commercial electrician is not to be fucked wit, and its not something you cant just advertise yourself as unless you are one, please dont call yourself an electrician unless you have applicable experience and guidance when doing it. dont brand yourself a sparky on some ad service, because theyre goin to expect a seasoned contractor to show up thats really what they were google searching not some punk that wants to get electrocuted because he watched two mike holt videos and doesnt even know how to read a multi

Dude is acting like one just jumps into lawnmower repair with no experience. Even if you're a mechanical savant, you still have to maintain a parts warehouse. Those things have year models, especially the Hondas and you need to be able to index and order spare parts. That's a giant headache business.

Good question. The general keywords will give you an idea of search volume and competition for that service overall. If you want to search a specific market, enter the city name at the end. So something like "gutter cleaning denver" has 500 searches per month and is a 6 on the keyword difficulty scale. From my experience search volume actually tends to be much higher in local markets than ahrefs or semrush predicts.

It’s not hard to recognize a business that provides a service people need and will pay for, however it is hard for people stuck in the rat race to take a risk and start a business. I started a residential cleaning 3 months ago and I made $1000 last week, I know that’s not much but it’s very rewarding for me my only regret is wasting so much time working for someone else.
