no one talks about the real questions about making"passive income" like how to report annual taxes/how much taxes you have to pay or how much money sites take away from your revenue. that's because people like you make money talking about making money. You don't care if people really make money from your advice as long as you make money on your channel. This is why passive money videos are always titling outrageous amounts they make to attract fools. when in reality it's hard to make online money because of competition or unless you've been doing so for long or have no problem stepping on others to make money. Say that I'm wrong Sir?

@@marktilbury my point is that you have to talk about that stuff too because grown-ups talk about the real things. what you've done is mentioned the positive things and not all the responsibilities that come with making money, how hard it is, and taxes and giving the middle man a cut. I'm a 37 U.S army retiree so I've lived some and I see lots of videos that only talk about good parts and dismiss the reality of things and teens learn nothing, they just wanna make money or be famous fast. and you want to make money on naive people, Sir.

I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I make $110 a week at 15 by mowing lawns for 2 hours or less every week. Takes me roughly 20 minutes per lawn and I can charge really whatever I feel. A professional charges $80+ and I can charge $30-$60 and people dive for it. The best part is as long as it gets done you get paid, you get to choose when you work. It’s a great side business for young teens.

My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless. I’ve only ever saved($510,000), never invested but want to start.

Fear is a dangerous component hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. hey Mark! I recently just messed up my mid year exams and i failed my math horribly. I do economics and business in school and those two subjects really sparked my interest into being my own boss. I feel that even though im 16, its like im behind the "rat race" with how easy wealth is gained online. I love watching your videos, they inspire me more than you can think to start my own business/ businesses to finally stop being broke and to just surprise my parents after all they have done for me. it may sound like an excuse everyone makes, but im scared to start my own business and im not sure how to monetise the skills i have right now. Skills like producing music, but i have no clue how to i cant monetise it. But with enough hard work, i can turn my music making skills into a real business.

Try selling yourself as a producer first and then work on selling your beats, making YOUR beats have value compared to selling the beat will workout much better for you. Doing this will also allow you to work with musicians to create custom beats and lead to more consistent customers with higher commission.

improve the math, you need it and also if you think it's easy, just know that everything is hard when it comes to making money, you never know what runs behind the scenes, a lot of failures, your motivation being broken and all, I'm not discouraging you, but you need those grades [not much important] and math [very much important] and a leve of knowledge from the other subjects [not everything but to a certain level]. All these rat race mfs just are lying to you to sell their course, they are great at marketing, don't fuck up everything, keep a backup every time because you never know when you need it

This is a great video. I think it's good to see that passive income is actually a ton of work that requires constant promotion. Am I right in thinking that It's possible to have something become hands off eventually but in reality all passive income businesses are a lot of work?

Things appear strange right now. the value of the US dollars is declining due to inflation, but is increasing in comparison to other currencies and commodities such as gold and real estate.
