It’s different. I’m pretty sure it turned out like it did was because of all the paint not being the same consistency. Usually, Rose Gold is thicker than the paints you were using and it also likes to take over. I love the colors you chose.

These are the paints I have. I haven't tried pouring yet (usually just paint rocks) but this looks very interesting. Next time I"m at Dollar Tree (haven't been there for over 3 years!! 😮) I might try to get some of that pouring medium and try this out.

HELLO FELICIA I'm a beginner of this and I also use the canvases and paint at Dollar tree you can get more for your money there 😂Oh my goodness Felicia that is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS ❣️ I love your choice of colors so beautiful, I loved it when you use the blow dryer on it it looks like a beautiful rose, I would have left it like that but the way you did it was so Awesome 💞 I'm not attempt this so wish me luck 🤞🤞🤞🤞 GREAT JOB 👍💞👍

I was curious why do you have to put white paint on the base of the painting?

It’s called the pillow when you’re doing an acrylic pour. It makes the paint flow better.

Falisha, as an experiment, it turned out beautiful. You may not have gotten what you were expecting, yet you may have invented your own technique!😍. Keep doing you and all the rest will fall into place. I think you were looking for the cells that form. I love it!

I love everything about this piece. The colors are phenomenal. The holes you see, if I am not mistaken…I think those are the lacing effect you get when using poured paint.

Thank you Mrs. Paula. I will be doing another one soon with the right things. I use to practice all the time before I started my resin journey. I think I’ll have to do just one so that you can see cells and lacing. 🥰

I'm wondering if it was the 2 different brands of paint that made it look the way it did in the middle? Or that they weren't as runny as the one's without the metallic finishes. Either way, I love your color choices and your encouragement to simply have fun and try new things 💖 Thank you so much for sharing this inspirational video with all of us!

Falisha, the colour combinations work well together. You’ve got some nice blends going on. It’s a good attempt. You can always redo the middle. I thought you would get some cells, maybe if you torched it a little if that’s the look you were going for. Anyhow I like it.

Try adding a little glue to your paints that are too thin. That will thicken them.
