This was very helpful. Thank you. For some reason my original carburetor has needles for hose A, C, and another hose which all lead to the that HAC vacuum canister, but the replacement doesn't have any of those needles. What's even more strange is that you only have 2 of the 3 needles.

At least in Ca., the under hood sticker includes one for the vacuum hose routing, but if it's not still there, as one comment said you can get the schematic online, or some manuals, like Motor manuals, (the best and my preference for decades), will have them. Be sure you get the year of vehicle , as well as the engine application correct, almost , if not all, different year vehicles, as well as models, will be different. Take your time and do one hose at a time, this can be confusing and frustrating, and if not exactly right, vehicle probably won't run right and most likely won't pass smog test either.

G, B,C,A? I need to know where the vacumm hose is connected...so if tou say d,b,c etc but where is goes

He labeled hoses and pulls them from carb, but does not say where the other end of the hoses connects.

Any idea which one goes to the EGR modulator? Is there a return (which would make it two)? I want to put mine on a 20r.

@@thedarkbanshee it now is 4 years later and everyone here thinks your brother died, or you, or both. I wish we, the tax payers, could enforce the smog department to publish all existing vacuum hose diagrams.

Bas Vossen haha what are the chances someone would be watching this video at the same time as me lol. Have you found any good sources for the vacuum lines? I have an 81 celica gt that I’m having a lot of trouble with right now. I replaced the carburetor and have no idea where any of the lines go.

In what other video are you going to explain where these letter lead to? This video has no info whatsoever on vacuum routing. I'm trying to find a routing diagram for my 1978 20R. Wish DMV had it.
