Daniel is an American martial arts expert and a former freelance employee of Midway.
Pesina started his work as an extra in martial arts films, appearing as one of Shredder's foot soldiers in the 1991 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.
During the creation of the 1992 video game Mortal Kombat, he played Johnny Cage and ninja characters Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Reptile, and served as a martial arts coordinator for the game. Then in Mortal Kombat II he reprised his roles from the previous game, also playing the roles of Smoke, and Noob Saibot.

I really liked the part where Pesina is reminiscing about the "get over here" exclamation and how that and other things bring him back almost thirty years. It seemed to me as if he was visibly moved upon sharing that memory and I think it's endearing how these people have had this bond, camaraderie and legendary memories. Every man should have such friendships and memories to look back on as he grows older.

It's crazy how big MK became and how the game actors are still working for a wage. How rich are the original masterminds now? I bet they have not had to work since the 90's.
