I started Nestlings and the first few chapters have already intrigued me! Also, I just got Chlorine & Monstrilio for Christmas so I'm excited for both of those.

I’m not a fantasy reader, either and I absolutely loved House on the Cerulean Sea. Ring Shout is also really good. Both were five star reads for me.

Yessss the krampus earrings!!! 😍👹🖤 I am starting nestlings literally today lol. I also LOVED mary so i cant wait, but since mary was a 5 star for me so im a little nervous too. I recently picked up my dark Vanessa too and waiting for the right mental space to hit me 😅 Chlorine has me so intrigued. I hope it works for you! I just finished man mad monsters on audio from libby and now I NEED the physical copy. So many great books!!! So many of these are on my radar

I really enjoyed The Spite House and others hated it so you just never know. Nestlings was really good. Nat Cassidy is now an auto-buy author for me. Oh and you definitely will not have fun with Night of the Living Rez...it's bleak.

I'm so happy you still have Ring Shout to look forward to reading. I read it over the summer and it's one of my favourite books of the year. The body horror just really worked for me. Best of luck with your 2024 reading plans!! 🖤🎉

Silver Nitrate was less horror and more historical, but I still enjoyed the ride! I hope you love Cerulean Sea, it's my happy place book 🥺Delicious Monsters cover is just stunning.

i know this is a 2024 list, but silver nitrate has some christmas vibes in the background if you decide to read it soon! im a huge mood-reader and was really excited about the timing when i read it last week because i had no idea going into it lol.

Oh, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Nestlings! I loved Mary, and Nestlings... was fine. I hope it's a shining 5-star read for you, for me it ended up being a 3. The Spite House was interesting. Not quite what I had expected, and for me there was a bit too much going on, but the writer is very talented. Also - love your T-shirt! That movie was such a surprise, I can't believe I haven't watched it before!

I hope I like Nestlings more than Mary! I liked Mary, but it was wayyyy too long for me. Better Watch Out is my favorite Christmas horror movie! I absolutely love it!! 🥰🖤

Nestlings, Malice House, Delicious Monsters, Monstrilio, and Immortality are all on my list to read for 2024 as well 😃. I don't think it's cheating to include your bookclub pick because you will need to read at least two of these books a month in order to read them all 😉
