They deffo have some great ones in Colombia!! The jungle bed actually wasn't too bad, I won't lie I was pretty drunk when o went to bed though so I conked straight out 😂

I am a teacher in Barranquilla, Colombia and I have been here for 5 years. Costeno Beach Hostel used to be at the Brisa Tranquila location. Since it has moved, it has really transformed! I can't wait to check out their new pool. Brisa Tranquila's food though is BOMB!

Costeno beach hostel has become so popular it was impossible to get a dorm bed a few days ago - I booked one of the hostels down the road for more than 100.000COP/night 😬😬

How do you move on so quick? I always fall into the going out for a party sleeping in and extending my days! Or I get attached to the hostel or people and extend my days! Lol so hard to move on. I miss traveling 💖💖

Normally I don't 😅 this was the only spot in the country I could only stay one night as I needed to make the next destination for a specific date so I didn't overstay my visa lol

Hi, Thanks for your comprehensive videos on Colombia solo travel. I am starting in Santa Marta (coming from Medellin) and want to go to Costeno beach, Minca, do the Lost City Trek, go to Palomino and fly out of Cartagena. I would also like to try to fit in Isla Grande of possible, or the other islands a close distance from Cartagena. In what order would you recommend doing this if I had 15 days? Also, you mentioned free sample itineraries for signing up for your newsletter. I didn't receive this but would really like to see the sample itineraries. How do I get my hands on them? Thanks!

Me da risa que los europeos y norteamericanos vienen a Sudamérica y creen que esos hostales con literas y hacinamientos inhumanos, son de los más baratos, ese tipo de hostales están echos para extranjeros que ignoran que les cobran lo mismo que un alojamiento decente, alejado de la idiosincrasia mochilera, es un dato para los que quieran ir en un futuro...los hostales de mochileros son de las caros e incómodos!
