These are games in which the player builds and manages a settlement, takes care of its inhabitants by satisfying their basic needs, such as food, establishes defense against potential enemy attacks, and does everything for the prosperity of their colony. Surviving Mars is amazing, I sunk 40 hours in a weekend last summer xD. Really wish KSP 2 wasn’t just cancelled, I was looking forward to the colonization there

Empires of the undergrowth and ONI are my favorites! ONI in particular is frustrating, but rewarding when you learn their mechanics really well.
