Well it turns out this game is so hard even I got one of these wrong, hungover pleb that I am. One of my favourite games too! Spoilers: at 1:14 that should be the trilogy of that franchise, not number 4 - number 4 is not yet on Steam. A thousand pardons. It's a feature not a bug.

One of my personal favorite reviews goes something along the lines of: “I tried to go back in time to refund this game, but Steam won’t let refund games you haven’t bought yet.” The game in question is 5D Chess with Multiverse Time Travel. ...It’s exactly as confusing as it sounds.

That 40,000 hours of Garry's mod is insane. Even if someone played for 11 hours a day since it's release in 2004 it would be 39,000. This person genuinely abandoned his life for this game and it's almost sad

2:04 For context for anyone who hasn't played FFX, there is a minigame in an area of the game in which your screen will light up white, and about 1/4 of a second later if you havent pressed the dodge button you will get struck by lightning. If you dodge 200 fucking strikes, you will get a secret item.

The first 2 on overcooked had me thinking skyrim. I cant even count the times ive screamed at npcs for standing in doorways. The plate one is a but more obscure but basically if you hold a plate against a wall and walk into it, you can glitch through it. So you go through the game walking past tons of plates, and then when you need one, you cant find any.

I genuinely had a lot of trouble guessing Tropico 6. And it is not just because I hadn’t played it(though that’s still a factor), it’s because there’s an alarming amount of management games where that kind of warcrime seems possible. And possibly any of the Sims games.

The fact that I actually managed to guess three games is surprising. Granted, one was the fonts hint for Undertale, and another was GTA San Andreas, but I’m stoked to have gotten Superhot.

i've been watching and playing undertale and its fangames for YEARS and when the review about the two most hated fonts in history, I KNEW that they meant comic sans and papyrus, and it made my heart light up.

I have a friend who has 20k hours of Gmod and counting, with a very similar review, so I INSTANTLY knew what game the 40k hour one was. A very large portion of that was probably spent AFKing or LUA scripting.

Surgeon Simulator was the only one I was able to guess... perhaps because I absolutely love the series that Doctor Mike did of it as a real doctor attempting to play it. Spoiler: He eventually (rather quickly) succumbed to the beast of the game and went for competing tasks regardless of mutilation or harm to the patient. Good bye, Hippocratic oath!

I didn't even realise Heavy Rain is on Steam now. I've played it a million times on the ps3 while I was severely depressed, trying to get all endings for the trophy (don't remember if I did). I never managed to get the trophy for doing the driving bit without any mistakes, though. It's an intriguing, yet nonsensical game (story-wise) that I don't think I'll ever want to play again. Even thinking back on it makes me feel depressed again.

The only one I got was Stardew Valley because that was basically my experience. Same character even, I remember the dialogue.
