I had to stick with iPhone 7 Plus only because I am used to the ecosystem and platform. The S8+ is a gorgeous device that is so feature-rich. I was also blown away by the level of technical support Samsung offers. Not to mention, expandable storage and the accessories offered by Samsung. They’re both equally wonderful phones and it seems like just a matter of preference.

1. Samsung offers the same camera experience for both the S8 and S8+ plus, while you only get this dual-camera feature on the bigger, pricier 7+. Reminder that most iPhone 7 sales are still mostly the 4.7 inch iPhone and not the Plus, so this matters. I'd also say the S8's camera is better as photos are more saturated and more beautiful. 2. Meh. I'd much rather take the beautiful Infinity Display on the S8 and sacrifice a bit of durability over the iPhone, with its humongous bezels. Most people just stick cases on their phones, so this was a weak reason anyway. 3. Duh, the outdated design of the iPhone is obviously an easier repair job than all the curved edges of the S8's Infinity Display. This isn't an issue for me, use a case and be responsible. 4. Apple definitely gets the upvote with all their stores, but it's not like Samsung Centers of Service don't exist. When I had my S7 edge and I suffered an issue with the display, I found one less than 10 miles from my home and had it repaired in less than 3 hours. 5. Yeah Yeah. Here's the thing though; I have 5 other ways to unlock my S8 if I don't like the fingerprint scanner. With the iPhone, it's either Touch ID or a PIN/Password. I'll take the variety of choices along with the awesome Infinity Display all day. 6. Whoah there, dual speakers with stereo sound! Seems like Apple really cares about that multi-media experience. Did they include a Hi-Dac on the headphone jack to compliment that experience as well? Oh wait, they didn't put a headphone jack at all 😂. 7. Seems like a gimmicky feature and a wacky reason, but claim it as a victory if you want. It's one of the few the iPhone has over the Galaxy these days. 8. The home button vibrates when clicked. This is better than the S8's home button, which also vibrates when clicked. Why? I don't even know, and I don't even see why people should care. It's the most empty reason I've seen so far in this video. 9. I agree, but that gap is closing by the day as developers give Android more and more priority. Not that big of an issue for me, tbh. 10. Yeah dude, all those wireless chargers iPhone fans can buy that we can't! Ugh! Oh wait...wireless charging isn't a thing on the iPhone 7. Well, enjoy those cases that can work on both the iPhone 6 and 7 because Apple isn't 'courageous' enough to change the 2014 design (but they are courageous enough to remove an essential and critical feature from their flagship, RIP Headphone jack). 11. True and valid reason. But it's certainly not a deal breaker, and it's not like being a couple of extra weeks on some older software is gonna kill me. 12. That's a shitty ass reason, nobody knows how long Apple and Samsung will keep updating the iP7 and S8, we can't predict the future. 13. True enough, but if you're really worried about that stuff just get a deal from your carrier that updates your phone every 18 months or something. 14. What a pointless reason. However, I can counter by saying that the S8 allows you to control the Media, System, and Notifications volume independently, while on the iPhone you can't. 15. "You can have the best of both worlds on the iPhone better" yeah, because Google isn't a dick company that restricts their services to only the people who buy their phones. Kinda working against yourself here. 16. What a laughable reason to use to try and claim iOS superiority. If someone tried to use this on me in real life I'd crack up laughing 😂😂 'but muh parental controls' 17. Always on Display is the same or better. Against, working against the argument you're trying to make. 18. I honestly don't care if the iPhone opens apps a couple of milliseconds faster than the S8. I'd rather have the amazing customization available to me on Android rather than Apple's restricting and almost oppressive iOS. 19. Used iOS 10 like 6 months, never used that feature. I've never seen someone use it as well. 20. "Muh iMessage bubbles" who cares, there's an unlimited amount of messaging apps on the Google Play Store to fit any specific need. 21. Apple is better at this, but it's not that relevant honestly. One won battle in a lost war. 22. Google's ecosystem does this just as well. 23. S8 has S-Finder, it's the exact same thing. Apple's take seems more polished, but I'll take S-Finder if it means I can still get a headphone jack. 24. The video has gotten so desperate it's started to use small software tricks to try to make the iPhone look better. Sorry mate, but simply having the back button is better than this. 25. Kinda like having the back button the S8 already has, but without shaking your phone and looking like an idiot. 😂😂

as an 8 year samsung user that just very recently got the s8, i agree with most of these. some of them are pretty insignificant but you missed the most important of them all. the edge screen on samsung phones is an absolute nightmare for screen protectors and case compatability. screen protectors are all either not compatabile with cases, ruin the touch screen or ruin the display. most of the time all 3.

I'm.watching this video on my S8 Plus but I'm 100% agree on these 25 reason for iPhone to be better then S8 Plus.

1. Spotlight search is not a better feature. You can use Google search bar on every Android home screen which is exactly the same. 2. You can use Gboard and move the cursor by swiping from space bar on any phone. No need to hold down hard on the screen. 3. Shake to undo takes more time and loss of comfort. Using Gboard you can just swipe left from backspace button to erase words which is a whole lot easier.

I'm not a fanboy of any of these Phones, but I used both (apple and samsung phones) over the time and I have to say that the title is wrong. "25 reason why the Galaxy S8+ is better than the iPhone 7 Plus" I dont want to make this too long, but you can quote me on this: Galaxy S8+ is overall (not in every point, but in the majority of points) better than the iPhone 7+. I could describe every point here, but most people wouldnt understand and those people want just a brief conclusion. In the end you can decide, which phone to buy, but Samsung 8+ is overall better.

That fingerprint scanner on the S8+ is amazingly quick and accurate. I don't think I've ever had to retouch it. My S7 however was a different story.

If you compare the likes and dislikes ratio on the other video, You'd see how apple fans aren't haters to Samsung... They care about software quality and speed rather than laggy and buggy software from Samsung skinned Android.

im an iPhone user but you seriously need to fix your video asap. Your talking about some gimmicks and iOS features that make iPhone 7's superior towards galaxies. Thats not ok. What you need to do is focus on the iPhone itself. Like what you said about the ringer, home button, camera, and the iPhone's speakers. Some topics to discuss are: structure, durability, and the devices feel. If your gonna talk about apples IOS 10 features, do a IOS 10 vs. Android OS 7.0, and if not then wait till the iPhone 8 comes out to create new topics to discuss and cover, because talking about the features that a iPad, iPod, and iPhone all have, is not a good way of diversing these 2 phones.

Currently trying to figure out whether I should go for the S8 or the iPhone 7. I might get an S8 but one thing that scares me is that the S8 is going to slow down in just a few months because of the heavy Android and the iPhone's speed on the other side is going to last for years. Or am I wrong? I currently have iPhone 5, bought it 5 years ago when it first came out and the speed is almost the same, while Samsung phones from 5 years ago are already dead. Any advice? Not trying to start a war or something, just want some help. Thanks!

I switched from an iPhone 6S+ to a Moto G5+ a month ago. I thought Android 7 was polished enough now for a switch, but after a month, I can't wait to return to iOS on the X. Sure, my home screen has a custom layout but the OS and apps are not nearly as polished as on iOS. Out of the box, no S/MIME email support, poor palm rejection for one handed use, no CalDAV/CardDAV support, and the Android versions of popular apps are lacking features (e.g. preventing Whatsapp from storing received photos and images to my phone's image gallery). I gave it an honest try and even purchased all of the third party apps to get the functionality I needed (that comes out of the box with iOS), but it seems that Android still isn't serious enough a platform for me. For me, the only feature that Android has over iOS is the ability for third party apps to automatically record phone calls, but is also be a huge security issue as well. The other day my Moto crashed while it was in my pocket and strangely a lot of settings were wiped away. I had to open DAVdroid to re-sync all of my data and fix all of the widgets on my home screen. The last thing I need is tech trouble when trying to get work done. The whole point of getting an Android was to have a device that would play nicer with my Linux machine than the iPhone (e.g. sending files over Bluetooth), but what's the point if all the rest of the experience is lacking. Yes, I bought an inexpensive device to give Android a try... why spend more on a device that may never see an update? The specs compare to the Blackberry KeyONE, which is not a cheap phone at all. At least with iPhone, I'll stay up to date for years to come. I've had a couple iPod Touches, which still run the same iOS as the flagship iPhone's. So, is it my mistake to believe that Android 7 on one device won't have the same lack of functionality as on a flagship running Android 7? My impression was the flagships just have better displays, graphics, CPUs, and cameras -- similar to Apple flagships. I'm not complaining about that at all. My issue is with the software.

I have to go with the S8 for its storage capacity. I have so many audiobooks on my current S7 that I can barely fit anything else on it. The SD card never performed properly and no one was ever able to tell me why. It was extremely frustrating. I want to centralize my music collection on my phone, as well. One thing I discovered is that some apps, such as from Kindle won't cross the border. That's also frustrating.

On the fingerprint scanner issue, I use iris scanner on table tops and since the phone is so long (S8+) I find myself holding the phone near the middle than the bottom so I'm fact my index finger falls right where the scanner is and I find it harder to reach the home button

I recently bought an iphone that received an update that bricked its software. Returned to Apple for repairs but Apple sabotaged it (by damaging it) and claiming it was unrepairable. Now i'm going Samsung, the phone that actually has better specs across the board.

Repairing, parental control, fingerprint scanner, iOS updates, better and trusted apps, good retail value, better performance( not in sheet), camera, 3D touch and so on. All the reasons I love iPhone and still I've an iPhone 4s.

I currently have a iPhone 6 Plus. My last android phone was the Note 4. This is the first android phone in a while that really makes me want to switch back to android. The customization, features, headphone jack, USB-C, expandable memory and display are strong options that really have me tempted. I think I may wait to see what new features are presented with iPhone 8. If they don't blow me away I will be jumping ship to the S8. The other issue that keeps me hanging on to iPhone is just the sheer number of friends and family with iPhones including my wife. FaceTime and iMessage make it hard to leave the iPhone family. My wife wants us to have the same phones so I will probably have to convince her to switch as well.

GUYS GUYS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! since few years Im apple fan (before i was always using windows and android only). seeing this video, fuck actually samsung (or android) stepped up so so much comparing to apple. and yeah most of the features from samsung are really great and would love to have on iphone. but the thing is design and optimisation is just bad in samsung (imho). apple has minimalistic and beautiful design (as inside, as outside) and the optimisation of ios, its just on different level.. i really hope samsung and apple would work together one day and actually make the best phone ever, but obviously its like asking for peace in the world. anyway thanks for you attention and have a nice day!

RE: #12. System updates aren't nearly as important on android. My old galaxy S3, even though it was last updated in 2015, can download almost every app in the play store. But if you're not on a recent iOS update, chances are you're gonna find more and more unsupported apps. My iPod 4th gen from 2012 (same year of release as the galaxy S3) barely supports any apps in the app store. And my dads old galaxy note 1 from 2011 supports nearly every app (even though they don run very well anymore)

iPhone 7 plus user here, just to let yall know, the "raise to wake" feature actually gets pretty annoying after a while, even if you just shake the phone side ways, it turns on.

I have gone through both the nuggets comparing iPhone 7 + to Samsung Galaxy S8+ and honestly speaking, the feature iPhone has sounds logical and meaningful while features offered by Samsung are the "attractions" but the quality is not the focus. What Apple makes they offer quality over unnecessary features. :)

What is unique to my 7 plus is that I bought it in Jan 2018, and it worked fine for one month. Then no one could understand me..my transmission was garbled. Took it to Apple store, they checked it and handed me a replacement. That was good for 2 months and now the speech is garbled when I try to talk to someone. I can hear them fine, but my phone is in effect a one way receiver. ....and Apple can't figure it out, and don't know what to do. My prior telephones were from AT&T...and I never ever had a problem. So even if I have a cell telephone that can walk , talk, and carry all kinds of apps...at the end of the day, if you can't talk on it...well, that sort of defeats the reason for having a cell phone doesn't it?
