@@kian4574 1050 for $70 is an ok deal. It's better to go with a Rx 570 or Rx 480, 580 for better performance. I find deals all the time. 1050 isn't really much of a deal imo. Just about market price.

@@johnjohn40100 I look for the day where a 4k Firestick tv can run league of legends. So far, you can turn the firestick into a beast mode via mini browser pc with OTG and storage that can also run emulators like GBA, Snes, PSP and so forth with a little coding. Or you can just use your phone to mirror mobile games to your tv I guess.

You can go lower budget for the same kinds of stats, or within 25 bucks of the same budget for faster. The trick is old office towers, for as little as 50 bucks on ebay. They come with decent motherboards, and good mid-tier processors. PSUs are reliable if small. You can upgrade the psu, the graphics card, and the ram for less than 200 if you're smart, and hit recommended stats for steamVR, or go for the same performance as this build for just 100-120 bucks for the upgrades, 50-70 bucks for the tower if you get a card that doesn't need extra power, like a 1650, or 1050TI.

It’s hard sometimes to watch Pc builds 1000-5000$ when you can’t afford it and say one day I’ll get one hopefully 🙏🏽 and you have people that bash on you for having a 200-300$ Pc I’ll never forget that day taking my Pc to a land party tournament with an 300$ Pc having everyone laugh at you making jokes can that thing even play half life 1 or dang can’t afford a temper glass case are you sure your going to even hit 60fps it felt shitty but nothing you can do. I just wanted to thank you again for builds like this, that shows regardless of our situation we can still game and have a decent Pc to play our games. The case may not be pretty or have rgb but I can still game and have fun. I would gladly buy this Pc and have so much fun with it. Especially for my son. To anyone who is having a tough time, remember regardless how things may seem right now in the end they will always get better. You don’t need 1000$ Pc to have fun or feel embarrassed about anything we do what we can to make it work and this Pc kicks $250 Pc kicks ass 🤙🏽🤙🏽

I built my my Pc about 2 years ago I have a gtx 1080 i7 7700k 16 gig ram I want to upgrade it with 32ram and rtx 3070. These builds remind me of when I was younger and had absolutely nothing going to friends house to play video games or go to the library to use their computer, and arcades to push the eject button hoping quarters come out, “ quarters get stuck it the game slot. Or I would sweep and clean the machines and the owner would give me a few bucks to play. Now I am police officer, every chance i see someone struggling I try to help out at the local arcades or gaming events.I seen kids in my shoes at these events, and just watching these videos bring me back to what I had to work with.

I would change one thing. On ebay I saw the Radeon 560 and I think that would be a way better option at the same price. Also thank you for helping me with a build. I adjusted things but this is how it turned out. I built a used gaming pc for $300 with an x58 board for $55 and a Xeon x5670 for $8 at 2.93 ghz with 6cores and 12 threads with hyperthreading which has a turbo boost clock of 3.33 ghz.I got an rx 480 for $100 and 16gb ddr3 reg ecc for $30 clocked at 1600 mhz.For the drives I got a 120gb ssd for $25 and I don't need a hard drive cause I already had an external 500gb one.I got a 750w 80+ psu for $40 and the cpu cooler I got for $15 and it kept my cpu cool.I also got a good case for $20

This it what i ended up making for 166$ -I7 940 + asus x58 mobo + 10 gb of 1333 ram (75$ which is a super good price) - evga gtx 950 sc for 70 $ - fsp 400w psu 11$ -500gb Seagate Barracuda for 10$ - normal case for free

Anyone wanna talk about the BIOS issues with the Z420? Wanna discuss how the mobo doesn't have onboard graphics so you have to make sure to get a GPU that doesn't have to be installed, before upgrading to the better card he shows in this video? He didn't just buy and slap-together this build. I'm on day 3 of just troubleshooting the build to make the parts compatible.

In January 2022, prices are still bad. While I could manage a comparable system with used parts on eBay, the GPU was reduced to an AMD R7 350X. There's just nothing else available.

For $125 i got: -Athlon x4 640 with stock cooler and AG EXTREME Thermal Paste (yea i know, pretty old) (with ram and board $35) -Asus M4A78TD EVO (god of OC) (with CPU and ram $35) -16GB Crucial BALLISTIX Sport 1600MHz CL9 2x8GB (with CPU and board $35) -ASUS PHEONIX 1050 2GB ($26) -BeQuiet! L7-430W ($16) -NEW WD GREEN 500GB HDD ($13) -NEW ADATA SU650 240GB SSD ($30) -Random housing/case ($5) This prices of used things is about 2/3x cheaper than my country normal prices. I hunted all the used things :) hard drive too (2years warranty) This PC Work very well :) quiet and Fast. I Love this PC. I think I would sell Athlon with board and ram and buy one with xeon, but for $250 i will go for ryzen with B450 board and GTX1060 :) I Love hunting

@@Renurch the problem is they SHOULDNT be you are paying on average a 100-200$+ premium for them to build it for you and it should be high quality parts for what you pay for but time and time again they skimp on psu's use single channel ram sticks cheap out on mobos ssd's hdd's and have lower quality or even downgraded oem gpus especially HP(Fuck HP) and sometimes even bad case cooling

I started out with a prebuilt 3 years ago because I thought it was cheaper since building anything else a piece at a time always costs more, then I found pc part picker and have since gutted it and replaced almost everything. My biggest complaint about prebuilt is they have such weird parts combos and hardly any storage.

I was able to pick up an r9 290x on eBay for 45 bucks and a 600w Evega certified power supply, I think It will be good fora budget build. It's always nice to see your budget builds. But could you try and do a build for 80 bucks? It would be interesting to see what you could do.

I have a very similar case, same side panel and layout inside but the front of mine is different. It's very thin metal and a tight fit for an ATX motherboard but it gets the job done, I'll be using my old HP media center case from 2008 for my next build. I actually bent my case when I was pushing the ram in.

You can get a 6 core cpu for around $18 on AliExpress. The Xeon e5 2620 v3. Might be worth the little extra money

Nice! Alot like one of my trusty Z420 custom buildups. I've also been using a z620 mobo with that same cpu for years as a test bench and previously as a cheap stream PC. FYI, there are some simple tweaks that can be done to make this platform clean boot in a custom build. I also helped Ozi figure it out. Feel free to hit me up if you wanna know how. And also a note on the ram support, it has to be registered ecc (as opposed to regular ecc or unbuffered ecc) or it won't work. I'll go ahead and count this as an entry to my $250 gaming and streaming PC build challenge that I tweeted at you back in August :)

The actual commun 250$ pc build is. Ryzen 3200g. b450m sdh. 8gb ram. But I want you to make a higher gpu like rx480 and lower motherboard and cpu. That's what low budget pc gamer should be

Well In this case yes because there both locked at ddr3 ram but if u got a platform that has ddr4 do that

Great content - really enjoyed it. There's also the option to 'upgrade' your RX 470 to a RX 570 for free by doing a video BIOS flash. It's a bit nerve-wracking but there are plenty of 'how to do it' videos on KZfaq and elsewhere.

e5 1620 (4c8t 3.6-3.8 Ghz) lga2011 z420 x79 motherboard COMBO = $50 w/free shipping power connector 18 pin to 24 pin adapter (proprietary HP motherboard) = $7 generic tower style cpu cooler with 2 led fans multiple copper heatpipes and a good size aluminium fin array = $19 ECC DDR3 4x4GB = $15 RX 470 4GB = $70 Thermaltake 600W TR2 non-modular ketchup-mustard cables = $40 DIYPC Zonnda-B (looks like 2008) = $35 | Total | | $243 | I see that going used Z420 Mobo-CPU-ECC RAM saves a LOT of money. (4c8t CPU + mobo new would be, what, $100? and 2x8GB DDR4 RAM would be at least $45)

So I tried to rebuild this by what I can tell is the same parts with the only exception being the power supply being a 500w however when everything is put together the only thing that comes on is the power switch on the very back. Has anyone else had a similar problem with this build?
