PM to Paint measurement (ESTIMATE!):
1.5oz (45ml) PM to between 1/4 tsp (1.25ml) to a 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) paint to start (for heavy body paints). If too thin or needs more color add a little more paint (or even a gel gloss), if too thick add a little more PM to thin more.

@@ThePaintedDreamer only said it cuz you say don't tell me that you know how my mind works..lol. I did my first pours last night the first two were absolute mess and then I got the third one to turn out by puddling it playing with it and tilting it. I don't know why my swipe method failed. The blow-dryer things didn't go as good as y'alls do online and I didn't understand that either.

@@AudaciousAmber the blow dryer definitely takes practice, it’s why I don’t use it lol, I feel I have better control with my breath but I’m going to challenge myself to get the dryer back out this year sometime. Have fun with it though no matter what! 💜

Jodieeeee! Gorgeous. The Athena is such a beautiful color. I also really like that last red. As always, the gold swipe background is perfection. Hated that you had to destroy the bloom. It was so cool. Wonder if a purple would work with this color palette. ( Just realized I don't know how to spell "palette." Too late now!) I'm so glad you did this piece. It's just wonderful! Another WWCD ..... winner winner chicken dinner! I hope it's ok to mention this here but I would love to see you trying out 'Karen's' new idea of the Behr DB and Valspar DB and NO pouring medium! It works. I'm trying to think this through and am wonder if in the long run it would save us money. The results are indeed stunning. I can't imagine what you would be doing with THAT recipe! You are keeping me up very late at night Jody! I'm giving your new recipe with the Owatrol that came in....tomorrow. fingers crossed. (I will always consider myself a newbie loll) ❤

And it’s super thick I can’t use it in the winter but maybe when it’s warmer I’ll see if it’ll work for me 😃, have you tried it, how do you like it?

I did crochet that hat hehe, it’s a cat hat but kind of reminded me of pig ears too so I decided to wear it. I’ve been crocheting mandalas as well I want to create into wall art so we’ll see what comes is that. It’s turning into another passion of mine. I’m so glad you enjoyed this piece my friend, it really was a lot of fun! 🥰

Thank you Cathleen, I’m glad you enjoyed it 🤗. The wood tray on my bench I actually made because I wanted a larger surface to work with that rotated and a little bit lower than my cake spinners. I found a wood tray at a craft shop and then just duct taped it to a clear glass lazy Susan I found on Amazon (that is in my storefront if you want to check it out). If you’re going to make one yourself I would try affixing it a different way other than duct tape because it’s not that stable I just needed it to rotate slowly while I worked on the piece. Hope this helps! 💜

btw, you success with the gold CA, can we use pretty much any brand gold paint? Are some going to be unsuccessful that you know of , is it trial and error...or are there preferred brands? Just mesmerized watching this....wanting to have success with the same thing.

I’ve only used a few different golds so I can’t say if all will work (Amsterdam, Atelier interactive and Pebeo). I do know some brands work better than others though (from my own experience and watching others) so if you already have something I’d say give it a go and see how it works. My favorite cell activator paint brands are Amsterdam and Atelier Interactive. I do add in some of the pebeo gold and that seems to work well also but my top two are those. Amsterdam seems to work well for everything like if you are on a budget you could use Amsterdam for both your paints mixed with your PM as well as your CA paint. Have fun Carol! 💜

Thank you 🤗 Pillow as I stated to you before is the white house paint I use (pictures in the video) is used straight from the can, nothing else mixed in it.
