Razer states up to 60 hours of battery life on their official spec page. While it isn't indicated, it should be based on 1K Hz polling rate and not 4K Hz. I've tried the Basilisk V3 Pro myself and I have the 4K Hz dongle. Battery life is abysmal on 4K Hz no matter what. On the Basilisk V3 Pro, it has a 90 hours battery life on 1K Hz and just about 24 hours on 4K Hz. Extrapolate that information and the Viper Mini Signature Edition will only run roughly 16 hours on 4K Hz. Add on the fact that 4K Hz is still not supported by quite a number of popular titles, it would be a meaningless feature to me should I own this mouse. Oh and should the situation on the Viper Mini Signature Edition be the same as the Basilisk V3 Pro, you wouldn't be able to use 4K Hz on wired while it's charging. All in all, would just stick to 1K Hz.
@Shyvorix

4k Hz is definitely a pure luxury feature unless you're playing an eSports game and are playing at a very high rank (essentially max rank games + faceit)

You need to go outside more if you need more than 24 hours of battery life on a mouse. Also, it takes like 15 minutes to charge to 50%, 30 to get to 70%, and like 47 ish minutes to full from drained. Thats more than fine in my book.

Magnesium alloy casting is not that expensive. It's very commonly used like on a $100 ikea table ass a piece connecting leg to the table. Or like motor frame in a $20 hand blender. Expense could possibly come from the need to finish machine the cutouts on some crazy 6 axis CNC due to the shape.

Not that I immediately take what Razer says at face value (e.g. their original Razer keyboard switches they claimed they "engineered") but for whatever Razer's word is worth, they claim that because of the intricacies of this particular design & their "0 tolerance" for defects, that for this mouse in particular, they can only use each mold once, and even then, the reject rate is "quite high"

The Razer Viper is my standard for mouse use but when it comes to the Mini signature edition? Nah, I'll wait for the plastic version. I meaan $280 is a bit much even though Razer packed a lot into the box to justify the price. I also have the Viper Mini and MAN! at 61g, I feel like I'm holding a sheet of paper so I can imagine 49g with the Signature Edition. As far as the triangular perforations? I believe Razer would have been better off with a plastic version and a solid shell. I get they're tryin to be fancy but keep with what works for the rest of us gamers.

So... my honest 2 cents on that: considering that even on the site it`s not listed in the ``viper`` tab but as a ``signature``, and the limited edition stuff linked to this new label, this mouse more than a everyday use mouse is thought as a collector piece. Considering that i can see why it`s priced like that, it makes sense to me. It`s like a very ``conceptual`` mouse that usually you can`t buy but just use in events and conventions, but this time you can actually buy it untill the `` limited edition`` strikes. This kind of marketing it`s a thing in many other segments like, as mentioned, watches industries... the new thing is applying it to a mouse! what do ya thinks, folks?

Option A in the survey can keep their current shape exactly, but those who say that we can enlarge the images on the screen with a 3D hologram from inside the screen can mark it when desired. I think Razer saw an opportunity as Finalmouse made themselves much more known thanks to the Starlight-12, but as it seems, it's not uncommon to see plenty of complaints in regards to QC. The signature edition is an statement on how top end mice should be made. In a sense I hope other manufacturers would try more of this, upping the bar on all fronts. I'm just disappointed Razer haven't gone more extreme, they could have easily gone under 40 grams with this.

I agree, for 280$ (320€) I expected a top notch perfomance in every aspect. We all know that Razer currently has probably the best wireless perfomance on the market but weight wise it's just not worth it considering something like the Lamzu Atlantis Mini weighs the same and is about 180 (!!) dollars cheaper. And considering Finalmouse announced a 200$ 29gramm 4kHz Carbonglass mouse it's kind of a sad release.
@Incursoe
@Incursoe Жыл бұрын
@@aeisbaer8042 I have doubts about Finalmemes claims. Carbonglass is absolutely shit compared to most other materials. It’s much cheaper than normal carbon, but durability and even weight wise it blows ass.

It's cool to see others apart from finalmeme to do magnesium alloy shell. Though even with those holes it's not as light as you'd expect, just saying. But way overpriced for sure. But I'd still like to see others do magnesium alloy full shell design though. Way less CNC work too.

this mouse better actually make me better at a game for that ridiculous price. and the worst part is that it's not even customizable. i'm really into custom keyboards and they're expensive as fuck but i can make it just how i want it to sound feel and look. this is just a normal mouse with a fancy box that they made 10 times the price

Can you do a comparison with the final mouse? It looks like the battery life is worse and it more of a copy then a new product.

the finalmouse is terrible, cheap mcu, mediocre click implementation, outdated sensor, terrible firmware, no software, it performs worse than $90 wireless mice

@@wqite you are joking right? Logitech switches are shit, same for razers lol They both suffer Dobble clicking and are meh feeling. And true, my bad, the sensor on the fm is the 3370,they just tuned it way better. Look, it's easy to see razer just slapped a metal frame they kinda copied from fm on a 25$ mouse, added wireless and called it a day. Don't be a fan boy, fm is mostly trash and not worth the price, that's true, but this one? That's a freaking sad pathetic joke. Razer gear is mostly trash, se for logitech and all the big names. It's better to get a custom mouse/make one yourself and a custom kb, it will be way better and cost way less then this joke.
