Very intelligent and informed review, best I’ve seen. I like the fact they compare similar cars for once, and not from different segments. Id have the Pajero, or Shogun Sport as its called in the UK because its nearly half the price of the Toyota, much better value for a ladder frame chassis 4x4 and in reality, most people will not use either car to their full potential off road so the difference in options is probably minor. I like the fact the Shogun is narrower, as in the UK or car parking spaces are not wide (2.4 metres average). As one other said, its a bit different to look at and I think it stands out because of the unusual design. As for the interior noise, I like engines that have character, and part of the reason I want this car is the way it sounds, and im sure this will be a great cruiser with an 8 speed auto.

Not sure he was being honest with the elk test. The pajero seemed to hold those turns significantly better than prado.

I bought a pajero and boat for the same cost of prado. Better warranty. 4wd on the fly, etc.

I really agree that you compared pajerosport to prado. This is because the mitsubishi discontinued the pajero already and I guess in a few years they will be making a new pajero which will compete with the bigger LC300. Also, based in this very detailed comparison, engine specs are quite close to each other since they are both run by a 4 cylinder turbodiesel. It's just LC Prado is more expensive and its a luxury vehicle.

the Pajero sport is a better buy and this review kinda seems more favorable to land cruiser didn't you'll notice it hit down a cone during the test ? also the Pajero sport top tier trip has a lot more features, hill assist, blind spot warning, collision warning and braking, and alot more, and for land cruiser is way more expensive with less features but never the less good review

Good review but it's really stupid to be happy about the Digital Instrument Cluster because we all know that an Analog Cluster with dials is the best thing one can get in a car. You yourself admitted that the missing buttons in the infotainment system made it inconvenient. So, not everything related to Modern tech is better. In fact, 90% of the things we've done since 2012 are step backwards

The Pajero sport looks more like a ladies car, but the previous model looks more rugged and looks like a loging truck
