@starplatinum oh right, I read that it's due to Adderall, which is a commonly prescribed ADHD medication in the US, but can have more stigma elsewhere due to its addictive potential. That really sucks 😕

i was in elementary when i started loving 2ne1… my even had a group w my 3 friends and we would dance to their songs on school events. i did bom’s parts bc she was my bias. she got hated a lot but i always defended her. i miss them as a group so much.

She went through so much and yet still never gave up. Also I've seen older fans like myself talking about how we wish younger fans understood the crazy trauma and madness that happened in K-pop back then and to the younger fans were like it's because none of the older K-pop fans will share with the younger ones know a lot of you guys don't care. I'm not that old I'm only in my mid-twenties now but I've tried talking to younger K-pop fans I'm talking people who got into kpop later on who are now teenagers or in their twenties and when I tell you that a lot of you guys really do shut down older K-pop fans who try to explain to you guys things that have happened before which is why we try not to sit here and like jump on hate bandwagon super quickly or hate on idols because of certain types of scandals and stuff you guys genuinely. Do be telling us to keep our mouths shut or that K-pop was worse back then and it's kind of crazy cuz it's like yeah we know that. We witnessed idols going through traumatic ass events having to take medications and then being public enemy number One because of stigma around the meds. we watched idols and actors drop like flies one after another because of how much hate they were getting from the general public and their so-called fans that they decided the best course of action was to take their own lives. We literally live through one of the darkest eras of K-pop where everyone was holding their breath because we weren't aware of whether or not we were going to get news of an idol having passed away we lived in an era where we had several deaths back-to-back like 3 to 4 years in a fucking row and multiple during thoses years. We watched all those things happen we witnessed that we saw it go down and we also saw how horrendous half of these companies were most of them didn't change the way that they treated their idols. Watch new people try to defend some of these companies because they gave them their favorite groups we've watched people sit there and call idols pushing themselves professionalism when in actuality it's their companies being hurtful and neglectful for not making sure that these idols were paying their health first. we sit here and watch as some younger and newer K-pop fans genuinely or upset with companies that are prioritizing the health of their idols that are mad that they're not doing what they can so that the idols can perform quicker when in actuality sometimes with the idols need is to just be on hiatus for a couple of months. Is to take a break from being in the public eye consistently. I've watched people sit there and praise the shit out of certain companies that will legitimately have their idols doing 50 million projects back to back and going on tours and not understand why they are older fans who sit there and call it out and say they need a freaking break because that's not healthy we watch idols have to do that before and we watch so many of them literally fainting falling out hurting themselves on stage because they were work to exhaustion
