In this video I show a simple strategy for day trading futures and forex using 3 timeframes and 3 tools: Market Structure, Volume Profile, and Supply and Demand.
This strategy can help you find high probably entries for great risk reward when scalping and day trading.
I mostly use this in the indexes but it can be applied to any market. Great technique for learning how to day trade futures.

I think with current volatility it’s hard to take just 1-2 point targets and maintain good r:r, unless you are scalping orderflow, but even then it’s pretty hard.

do you still use divergence on CUD? because there was a regular bullish on at 11:00 where one also could have gotten in (stomach through contestation than ofc)

Yes,. This video was made before the video on divergence. I have added the divergence entries to my set up to allow me to get tighter stops and better risk/reward.

Small correction note on the side: in the 1k tick chart it is not a Break of Structure (BoS), but by definition a Change of Character (ChoCh)!

I only trade S&P 500 futures. You can use this approach for any instrument, though.

I am currently only trading on time-based charts. Regardless of chart style I always advocate for multiple timeframe analysis.

Newby question. . . What is a Tick?

Great question. This can be confusing for those who are new to futures. A tick is simply the smallest increment that a futures contract can move. For instance, ES (S&P 500 futures) which is what I trade moves in increments of $0.25. So 4 ticks is equal to $1.00 of price movement. Also $1 in futures is referred to often as a “point”. So in ES, 4 ticks is 1 point.

In the context of this video, a "tick" is a "trade" or a "transaction", regardless of the volume traded in that transaction. So, you buy at the market with 1 contract, or someone sells at the market with 100 contracts, both are a "tick" in the context of a "tick chart."

You literally are giving away the keys to the kingdom while everyone else is banking KZfaq dollars off of what are In actual truth just gimmicks. People are so much more apt to desire entertainment than real knowledge and understanding. Well hey, more for us to win, right? Here's to the millions I plan to make with this knowledge and understanding--after trying all the gimmicks. At the end of the day, it all comes down volume as a function of time, volume as a function of price, and their coincidence between probability distribution. Turns out the impression of purely traditional cycles is a bit misleading...

at 28:22 you say "cleaner entry" but it's not even a break. Real break would be at around 4056 which was real higher high. So your cleaner entry just a top of down wick and makes no sense. Taking that trade just because price reacted to demand area not safe. You were really lucky or it's all studied before video recording.
