3 DAY PULLING BINGE IN THE 6.0 POWERSTROKE DUALLY!

Day 2 of our 3 day pulling binge. Last night we took first place in our class for street diesel!
The 6.0 powerstroke dually did so well at Barry county that we made no changes, not that we had time!
Our strategy was left side but we didn’t stage the truck properly. Only losing by 2ft to our competition.
Stay tuned for the 3rd day as it introduces some controversy.

Race truck is definitely on the back burner right now and likely will until the end of September. It’s due for an update video no doubt, but I’ve really been enjoying the truck pull scene so I’m focusing on that.

You are my 6.0 hero. Diesel tech ron is smiling down on you brother. Quick question..I have a set of stock injectors am I in trouble if I use one in truck that currently has slightly bigger ones in it?

Definitely do not recommend doing that. Especially if it’s tuned for the larger injectors.

Hey, what was that 6.0L engine stand you were touting about in your build? I've tried to find you mention it but I'm tired of looking. 😂 Nice Pull! I do enjoy watching this truck.

This was day 2! Last video was day one. Day 3 will come out mid week. I see though, yea the title is a little misleading haha

That was definitely your 2 foot difference not being on the left. The first 50-75 feet really doesn't matter as long as your not bouncing. If you are that makes or brakes you, literally. However that is why your speed was down. I'm not sure what all drive train mods you have done or want to do. But 14.80 yokes and new axles would make you feel a lot better. Not your pocket book though haha. It is a huge learning curve with throttle management. Sticky tracks you can generally hammer down and do better. Dry dusty tracks you want to take your time and build the speed or else you just spin out. One trick they do for tractors that might help you out is look at your holes you dig at the end of the track. If they are flat tire pressure is perfect. Concave and it's too much. Convex and too soft. We would run 13 psi in the front of a 6500lb gas truck with 35's on 15-16 inch rims.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll have to pay more attention to the tire marks at the end of the track. Seems the 4.10 gearing, stock Dana 80 rear has been doing quite well. I think the bounce is what killed my stock axle shaft in Eaton county. None the less I do have some drivetrain and safety upgrades in the works.

@@LeftLaneDiesels a mid shaft drive shaft loop for both would be very helpful on the safety side. Keeps the shafts up out of the dirt. And if you make the mounts easy to remove you can still do maintenance. We were required to do so much extra. Mid loops and front and rear loops. Toe strap on the throttle pedal ( won't work with a 6.0 since it's drive by wire) but idk what your rules require or allow. Love the videos and so eager to see how much better you do with seat time.
