The worst thing about being Scots and vegan must be swearing off finnan haddie. I'm not Scots, but I must admit to being addicted to finnan haddie while in Scotland. There is no other smoked fish like it in the entirety of the world.

Just want to mention, after my 1rst month of being Vegan, always reverting to sautés, I finally tried ramen (for the first time in my life, I'm 31), and it's amazing. Your channel is wonderful, it inspired me to try a whole genre of food that I never tried, and since then, I've eaten variations of your ramen and pho for the last week straight. I can't wait to try as many of your recipes as possible.

You can replace the coconut flour for sesame seed flour. That’s right, what tahini is made from. It gives a similar taste profile. Just blend toasted seeds into powder. It’ll help bind the mixture.

I've made the falafel using this recipe, and it is simply awesome! Also made it for friends once and it played to raves. I should have made a double batch because they went all gone in no time. It's a guaranteed winner! I've also made his recipe for hummus. I'm particularly fond of the chili oil version. One thing I'd recommend though is that you splurge and get the best tahini you can find. The cheep ones often have a really bitter flavour to them. I haven't yet tried his recipe for fattouche, so I can't comment honestly on it, though I'm definitely looking forward to making it someday soon.

Hi YMC 😊 Thank You . I Really like the Gf Falafel , I want to try making withe Your recipe ! I tried making one X with canned Garbanzos , I didnt know You have to start with the Dry Beans . They did disintegrate but didnt , as Patties and little Oil . I wonder why It does that ? You dont have to pre cook the Beans ? Even better : ) To continue with the gf , I just learned recently using single Romaine Leaves as mini individual boats ‘ for the Falafel bread ‘ . Definitely an awesome tasty go to substantial meal , please dont forget the extra Pickles on mine💓 Somethings ‘ can never be substituted , every once in A While ~ Falafel !!!

Hi Wil.. always loving your recipes ....a bit frustrating cause ingredients have different names in countries.. but I am making them today.. mmm but no potato starch in cupboard.. so I googled what else I can use they say cornstarch which here in australia is cornflour.. so fingers crossed I am using that.. or they say rice flour? hahah does it matter..? thanks in advance for answer for next time I cook them...also is there something else we can use instead of sumac... and yes I agree you should have a shopping link so we can buy your kitchenware that you use.. although I dont think the appliances would make a difference to my cooking.. hahhah but it might help.. t=xxx
