It's a challenge for me when all my life people have told me something different. But I also know those same people aren't in my life anymore, and only I can change my mindset. Hi Karen, New from NY. I’m high priority and often get mixed messages about clarifying your hair before shampoo. Do you recommend clarifying weekly even if you have some oil buildup?

Hey there! In terms of clarifying, you don't have to clarify before every shampoo. Of course that is contingent upon what you put in your hair. But generally speaking you can clarify once or twice per m month. If you use heavy grease or oil, and you apply ALOT throughout the week you can clarify. You can use a clarifying shampoo, or a ACV rinse (2 cups of water to 1/2 cup of acv).
