I collect all the rose 🌹 petals in my garden before the wind blows them away. I have bags of dried petals. I use them for my hair

@@glorygamelan2952 I have a garden with roses... plus I ask anyone if I can collect their petals when the rose flower is looking like it's about to drop the petals I dry them as I collect just put them on a tray... then I store them in a plastic bag.... I just get a handful add deionized water as our small island Fyn in Denmark is so alkaline ... or I make sure its really ph 4 for my hair.... I have high porosity.... I add say 300ml of water 💧...today I added lavender petals... I let it sit overnight.... I add a preservative 1ml. If I want to leave it out.. or keep it in the fridge for many weeks .... I use this water to spritz or to make other diys.... I even add this water to any store bought spritzes to save money.... collect the petals....

I use a mixture of food grade aloe vera juice and water as a spray leave in conditioner for right when I get out of the shower. After that I'll use the creamy leave-in conditioner and then seal with an oil. My hair is rarely Tangled, dry and I never have dry scalp. I also use it to revive wash and goes in twist outs in the morning put my hair has been packed down from sleeping. Literally the best!

Great advice🎉 what kind of creamy leave in conditioner? And what kind of oil do you seal it with? My hair is so dry and it’s breaking horribly due to it😢

I infuse lavender, calendula, and hibiscus flowers into aloe vera juice and my 4C hair that's naturally susceptible to extreme dryness, as well as my scalp, sings sounds from heaven 😂 after my cousin recommended the flowers. Depending on my mood, I may only infuse one flower at a time. Didn’t know about rose water though...adding that to the list now lol

Once again, thank you. Laavennderr Water! Yes, on my seborrheic dermatitis scalp. Yes balance and sooth that scalp, and beat that sebum back. I have aloe growing outside my door and I will be getting some rose water/ oil. Which ever you said. OK Queen, carry-on

I have sebhorric dermatitis also. (So annoying especially in cold weather) Rose water and aloe vera are definitely in my hair regime (just not a lot, more on my face and herbal teas) Will definitely try lavender water. I LOVE lavender! Shower, face, oil, culinary....... now hair hydration 😉👍🏾

Get rid of ALL diary from your diet & any type of dermatitis will disappear. If you have adult acne, that will disappear too & your face will be flawless. Replace animal dairy with plant or nut milk. 3 yrs ago I had adult acne, dandruff, & horrible scalp itch. I eliminated dairy & increased drinking water. Problems disappeared, never to return. Dairy is the culprit.

@@makedasamuel-gaskin7760 I haven't really teas on my hair yet cos I'm just not sure about food on my hair lol (I'm a bit lazy lol) but I've mixed up all 3 mentioned together and it feels nice so far. I do drink a lot of herbal teas which I mix up myself. Definitely making a difference somewhere as i haven't had a crazy flare up for a year and my hair dresser has noticed thicker hair (I didn't actually lol)

Good to learn about lavender water. I have DIY water sprays for hydration (green tea … fenugreek … clove … rose … etc.) & they’re successes!! I will get some lavender & get to work making my own custom lavender spray.

This might be late but buying the aloe Vera juice with no sugar, it usually says 99% aloe Vera. Then put it on right before your your leave in, that is after you wash and condition your hair

I oil my scalp with castor oil, it's dry the next day, coconut oil, dry the next day, Blu Magic and it's dry a few days later. 🤷🏿‍♀️

Dry scalp needs hydration, WATER! Oil seals in moister but doesn’t hydrate. Get two spray bottles, one for water and one for water/oil mix. Castor oil is the better of the 3 you listed. Hydrate daily with water and seal every other day with water/oil. 💚

Humectants will pull moisture from the hair in the winter. And me and lavender don't get along. What else can I use that is hydrating like these in the video? Thanks

I feel this!! My hair and scalp get very dry in winter and I think flax seed gel helped me the most. Ofc hydrating the hair is important, but I think improving elasticity helps with preventing breakage when it does get too dry.

I make a spray using aloe Vera juice and rose petals. I leave it there to soak for a few ours and get really concentrated. It adds SO much hydration. I spray every night and seal with almond oil. I will now add lavender as well. I’ll give an update on how my hair in a few months. Hoping the light oil blend will help with how thin my hair is.

I didn’t know about Lavender water, deffo will look into it but I do use Lavender essential oil which I mix with a bunch of other oils. I also use Kewra Water ☺️

@@jeanninegorden8142 Kewra water is a fragrant Indian floral water, extracted from the flowers of pandanus tectorius. So made the same way as rose water but a different flower. It’s also known as Kevda water and has great benefits for skin, it has anti-inflammatory and moisture replenishing properties, cleanses away dirt from the skin and helps combat dry skin, acne, eczema and other things. So basically helps clean out clogged pores and keeps it hydrated. Hope this helps 🙃

@@jeanninegorden8142 yes you can, either place although Amazon tends to be more expensive, so I’d suggest looking into buying it from an Indian grocery store, that’s where I get mine. Make sure to read the label because for instance mine says not drinkable, I think it needs to be diluted in things but as I use it directly on my skin and in my homemade products, I haven’t looked into drinking it directly 😅 They also make Kewra essential oil, which I recently looked into but because it’s not a popular product, it’s stupid expensive on Amazon 😪

What do you think about cucumber water? Also what do you think of Soy bean oil as a Carrier oil to infuse herbs for hair? I have heard many natural hair gurus say soy bean oil isn't good.
