How does cancer formulate in the body?
Let's look at a classic Model of colon cancer.
So we typically recommend the #colonoscopy to screen for Colon cancer every 10 years because we think that it takes about 10 years to go from here to there, for an average person, it takes about 10 years to have the development.
So Step 1 to Step 2, to Step 3 but it really depends on genes and exposure.
So for some people, this process is going to be two to three years from here to there, for some people is going to be 30+ years.
It really depends where they live, how they eat, what genes they have, what else they're at risk for so treating populations versus treating individuals is drastically different.
You can't say, well, I'm going to subject-- everyone to the same strategy of, you know.
I'm going to do a colonoscopy every 10 years because you are going to be Grossly over diagnosing and over procedurising, some people and grossly under diagnosing and under procedurising others.
So why like who cares?
right?

And the reason why it matters is this one and two men in the #US will have an invasive cancer.
