To be fair to him, most people would find extremely difficult to become champ against guys like Cruz who's basically the best bantamweight ever, Johnson who's definitely the best Flyweight ever and Figueiredo who seems like the world's scariest hobbit.

Alot of people seem to forget that Joey B came very close to beating both a prime Dom Cruz and DJ in their first fight. He undoubtedly is the best fighter in mma history to never win UFC gold, he just happened to fight in the Flyweight division at the worst possible time to be a Flyweight (during DJs title run).
