That is about as easy as it gets. Thank you Lisa

I started using this on my tarp lines because of you and feel much safer about the longevity of my tarp compared to my old truckers hitch method

I’m so glad. Waking up to a ripped tarp on a canoe trip is the land equivalent of waking up to a lost boat.

This has become my go to line for tarps thanks to you, when the line it way to long I take a bit in it and the inside inside is doubled up as is the outside. Just to use up line and apparently keep it from slipping as much in the wind.

Great to hear! When the winds blowing the front around at night while I’m sleeping I feel better knowing the tarp won’t rip, yes each line will need to be tightened in the morning from when it released just enough to take the tension off the fabric, but that’s easy.

I worked in the electrical trade for over 40 years. Knot tying practice is the only way you learn. My method for teaching apprentices to tie a Bowline was once an hour for everyday the first week. Week 2 was first thing in the morning, coffee break lunch and afternoon coffee and before we went home. Week 3 was coffee and dinner breaks. Week 4 was once a day. I had apprentices that I saw years later that I could ask them to tie a Bowline they would get it right the first try, then they would say you know I don't think I have tied a Bowline for 8-9 months. They never forgot after that month of training.

Exactly. Over and over again. Plus there is a big difference doing it in a storm.
