i love the platinum lettering on the end of the bed. i was suprised to see it not carried over from the 2016 version. Did you just order the same letters from the 2016 model and put them on there?

I love it!! I've had 2012 F150 a 2007 F250 and now a 2015 F150. There is such a different feeling when driving a disesel especially when you give it a intake and exhaust pipes with a tune it like makes it come to life. Probably when I pay off this F150 I'll go back to F250 since diesel gas so much easier to get when a hurricane happens here in Florida. I love my F150 bit like I said a F250 to me feel so damn good and the diesel engine really good too.

Dude your truck is fucking perfect... Sorry if there are any kids reading these but sometimes you have add a little emphasis. I think the crew cab standard bed is a great configuration but only if you're going to buy it in a high trim level, such as this one. I also totally see what you're doing with trim, handles and tailgate wrapping then in black, very tasteful changes. Nice to see you didn't ruin it by murdering it out smoking all the lights, de-badging everything or blacking out lettering. Just very well done and a great specification to boot. Nice work.

This truck is beautiful! I'm looking at picking up a 2017 King Ranch. I'm looking to delet and tune it tho... have you done that to yours yet? If so dose it run a lot better? How's the mpg "Stock vs Tuned?" I live in Cali so It's Risky to tune and delet over here but I still think it's worth it

If you want more offroad capability get flush fitting front and rear bumpers with integrated winches/lighting (keep it tight though, like the rest of the truck, of course) then add a multitude of underbody protection mods. Breakover angle isn't something you find in a pickup anyway so focus on protecting the underbody as much as possible and improving the approach and departure angles by replacing the front and rear bumpers. Also if you add larger wheels and tires just make sure you spare as much time and money as necessary when integrating the new size into your setup, idk if your shocks are adjustable or if you know how to dial in new settings in your suspension. Sometimes the camber or toe angles get thrown off with different tires and or wheels so what happens to your new tires is the wear pattern is biased and things go downhill from there. I've seen it happen to many people where the driving characteristics were deeply impacted and the vehicle became twitchy, loud and just a pain in the ass to drive. Not to mention things begin to break, transfer cases, axles or what have you. It's a simple mod that must be approached with caution and in some cases a consultant.

I have 600 miles on my new 2017 f 150 Platinum, 4x4 v6 with tech package. It wouldn't start today and had to have it towed. It was flashing different messages on dash and was clicking under the hood and making noises then I started smelling burning. Anyone else had this happen. I am worried.

I've played around with Ford's configuration on it's website, and F-250 and F-350 are of relatively similar price... say F-250 Platinum base price and F-350 Platinum base price is just about $1,000 difference... on 71k base price, 1k difference seems pretty tiny... why not go ahead and get the F-350 instead??

The RAM fit and finish is nicer and the gauge area is nicer in the RAM as well. I'm surprised how much plastic tab looking buttons in the cab. I can't see that truck lasting more than five years looking good.
