Pt. Royal people didn't want to leave their homes for fear of looting. They shouldn't infer that if you stay - on your head be it. The responsibility lies squarely at the feet of the govt. Because they should allow ALL citizens the right to feel safe in their own country, with an ongoing system of law and order that protects ALL Jamaicans - not just the wealthy ones - or the ones who come with a bag of money from abroad and the upper echelons of st. Andrew.

I honestly don't see were the integrity commission is making much of an impact apart from the news cycle, in terms of charging or arresting any corrupt politician's, or submitting a successful case file to the DPP is seldomly seen or much less heard. they seem to be more of a political tool for their opposition, or a nice sound bite. They themselves need investigation and a policy change

The many residents of the area's the Govt. and local Officials requested they leave there homes and go to safer area's opened for them to gather in safety during Hurricane Beryl might have believed there homes would have been vandalized in there absence, so they prioritized the risks and decided to stay and protect there homes and property from potential vandals!

Be careful what you wish for? The last politician named was a PNP former MP, Dwayne Vaz 😂 The Integrity Commission can not fool us. They're definitely in bed with the PNP. The Finsac money spreading wide and deep 😮😮. Mark Golding admitted that he was very integral with Dr. Omar Davies, during the high interest rates issue that led to Finsac, 2 mad men in clean but had corruption diseases 😢😮

The Integrity Commission of Jamaica must not be used as a pawn in political affairs. It must uphold independence from political influence, avoiding the perception that its investigations serve the interests of any particular party. While not all rulings may be to our liking, true independence necessitates accepting and respecting all conclusions. It is crucial to refrain from aligning with favorable rulings and opposing unfavorable ones, instead allowing the Commission to function autonomously. By doing so, the importance of such an institution in combating corruption in Jamaica becomes evident. To be effective, the Integrity Commission must remain free from political constraints.

roads must mash up if they keep using marl under the roads. anybody that know marl will know it is not a stable material. it shrinks when dry and swells when it absorbs moisture. so when rain fall it swell and burst through the asphalt.
