Thanks for your content. As someone who is looking to get a Onewheel, it's good to explore the different models. The features of the pint, such as the information lights, the carry handle, a bit sleeker look, are all very enticing, but ultimately the range is the reason I probably won't get the Pint and instead save for an XR. I was wondering if think we'll be seeing a new/updated variant of the XR anytime soon that offer these features and if it's worth waiting for that hypothetical updated XR. Thank you!

I ordered one. I waited a week before ordering to marinate on the idea. I could have purchased a used + for about the same price. It came down to acceleration, max speed, simple stop, price and uhh...cough..."warranty". I'm not mad that FM gave us an "entry" level product this year, I only got my XR at new year. Is it an upgrade to a + is questionable. As a major upgrade to the V1, I like it. Now I can go float with my son. It will take some time, but 3rd parties will begin making accessories. Truth be told Jimmy, I think you son will like it more than his + if your wife is not into it. The smaller tire and lighter weigh may make it more fun for him to ride.

i really hope it will be modifiable for more range later on

Good vid. I agree. I don’t have the money for a new board but can’t wait to see the next gen for the full board. Range...features...power. The pint feels like it’s more a of a budget features preview. And a great way to get new people for less.

I’m torn between getting the Onwheel pint or a Electric unicycle. After watching this video I’m now leaning toward the Onewheel. It’s within my budget and I believe it’s easier to learn than the EUC.

Best part of video for me is your son tackling all the sketchy terrain. Didn’t see you doing the same? Being able to do that is my current goal.

I'm 48 years old and when I was a kid I wore the checkered vans, so that was a cool flashback. The onewheel is cool but I'm not sure if it's legal in nevada. They have a no skateboard law on city streets and public area except for skate parks. However the law specifically applies to multi-wheeled boards. But who knows. Anyway it looked like a blast, thanks for sharing the video.

How about this for an observation future motion normally would send a product out to a very highly popular KZfaqr so that people would see the product and that person would review it but in this case of the pint not only has it not been released to any popular KZfaqrs but it has not been released to really anyone other than allowing one to see it in their version of a video. It does look cool and it has a lot of terrific features like the LED light I wish the XR had, and I agree with you Jimmy with the better dismount feature as well great idea. I think a lot of people after receiving the pint might realize that it was better for them to go for the XR. I decided to save my money because I was one of those people that originally purchased the Pint (I have the paperwork to prove it) and in 3 days I canceled the purchase and came to the rationalization that I won't be traveling 25 miles an hour like I do get with my ecoreco L5 plus electric scooter. I will be traveling just 16 miles an hour with the pint? So my reasoning is simple, just save up and purchase an XR without feeling any regrets.😎👍 Your conscience will thank you! PS........ let us try to understand that companies in general are out to push narratives of why you need their product?, and if they can get everyone on board with that narrative including popular KZfaqrs pushing that idea, then and only then will you fall into the Trap of not knowing what you want and therefore buying something that you never really wanted in the first place. So as a suggestion take a deep breath and see what else is out there and if you still want a onewheel save your money and get the XR that would be the best advice I could give

borrowed an xr for the first time and i loved it, couldnt afford to keep it so i got the pint, and the pint is fucking terrifying, i feel like if i had started with the pint id have no problem at all, but its so easy to control that its tough to trust it and keep you balance but im getting better at it, thinking in the long run the pint will be funner then the xr, or maybe someday when i get really good at it, ill get an xr and put a pint wheel on it.

Maybe normalize loudness, us headphone users would appreciate it. Also was considering the pint but went for the xr since I'm planning to use it to move during shooting days and also cover golf events as a way to move freely without needing a golf cart.

I was floored when y'all rode in the hotel on the wheels. But i guess it's all just rubber! Another reason to get a one wheel when living in the city! I live west of denver so i ended up getting a dual drive electric mountain board. Still enjoy your videos tho. Great tunes in this vid

Hahahaha you are such a tease man. Well played. Loved watching you roll with your son - that path looked amazing. Your son is killing it! Give him a high five from me please. Personally I think the pint could potentially be a super fun urban or skatepark board. A lot of people spend extra money on a hoosier 6 slick tire for a more nimble feel. Some people even prefer a 5.5. I think the pint with its super narrow tire and wicked agile geometry will actually be superior to the XR for certain experienced riders in certain conditions. I can't use it to commute with due to the range issue, but I can certainly see the draw to having one in your quiver regardless of what type of rider you are. As for the Pint being referred to as a Toy - I don't think it'll have that feel at all - the thing weighs pretty much the same as a plus. Sounds like a tank to me. I look forward to getting an opportunity to give one a spin, I think they look fascinating and are a brilliant move on FMs part. I am still disappointed that they haven't provided me with something to upgrade my XR to, but my bank account is grateful.

It almost seems as if you have an endless amount of cash. 3 boards, all with almost every upgrade possible, vacations to Hawaii and other spots? Jimmy any recommendations for buying my first onewheel. Onewheel plus for 800 with 10 miles on it or onewheel XR with 30 miles on it for 1400.

But the range is not very good on the pint and it’s like 1k but if you get a second hand one the X-r is 950 and the pint is 850 so for the extra money I would get more rang and a faster better one wheel

Looks like fun, but don't folks indoors get a little put off by OneWheels zooming around? They just brought e-scooters back to Portland, and I've got to say, many of those who ride them are totally inconsiderate - from riding the wrong way in the bike lane to staring at their phones in the middle of the bike lane, clueless to oncoming cyclists and kids zooming around pedestrians on the sidewalk. Shame the inconsiderate few ruin it for everyone.
