Thank you to whomever is still running these videos and John for putting so much work into making these tutorials for us.

I think his family is running the channel now. What a great thing it is to leave this earth but still be able to provide for your family. John did everything right to let his family in a good position. So much that even now they're still able to share his valuable content and get paid for it, while at the same time helping people learn more about training, nutrition and everything fitness, plus get more people to know the great man John was.

I first found out about the Mountain Dog in a bodybuilding magazine over a decade ago. I still watch his videos whenever I need to change up my workouts and learn something new. Out of all of the bodybuilder's/coaches that are no longer with us, John is the one that I miss the most. I hope his kids and wife are making it through the holiday season.

Its strange how the simplest improvement, doesn't really click until its shown or explained like the reverse grip movement. He was spot on with what he said about the wrist and bar readjustment and even though i do the regular push downs with grips because of him, it never occurred me to do reverse with them aswell. I'm so glad all his information has been preserved like this and thank you for keeping the channel active. Rest easy John.

I always start with push downs thanks to John. 90% of my routines are based on John and I'd say overall, John's content over the years transformed my body, knowledge base, joint health. I have iron rebel elbow sleeves cause him, use a band for shoulder health, and my shoulders exploded from him demonstrating heavy partial raises for example

i didnt actually know this, but i always left my triceps towards the last of my workouts. The push down that i do however is just normal, intense pushups and my triceps fire up. Then i take the dumbell and do the overhead thing. Luckily no elbow pain, but seems i was pushing already before overhead tripceps with dumbells, but this is great to know.

I hope the Meadows family had a good 🎄🎄 Christmas. I have always done pushdowns last as a finisher. And I'm 57 years old now. To me once you have done bench presses and weighted dips. Your elbows should be warmed up for anything.

a lower weight can get a better connection with any tricep extension when trying to hit those 12-15reps for hypotrophy . Overload, with a higher weight, for lower reps for strength. Easy peesy. I Miss him ❤️

Nothing has blasted my triceps as hard as flat bench dumbbell presses using moderate weights and doing set after set after set to failure, next set, go up in weight, work to failure again, repeat until I can't get 3 clean reps before failure. This also works my pecs really hard, which is a bonus.
