Great video - could you do a follow up? I’ve been making due with an old Scrambler kayak and weight capacity too low. You look like a big guy - was wondering if the 10 ft kayaks give you enough weight capacity to remain stable. Thanks for the video.

When I started looking I was looking for the same thing. The thing that sold it for me was this guys channel kzfaq.info he’s 7 feet tall and I’m going to say over 250 lb so if he can stand up to fish and feels stable I figured I could to. I think he has other yaks as well but look on his channel or his instagram and you will see him on a 3 waters. The 3 waters is plenty stability to me but like everything it take some getting used to, the cathedral hull really helps the stable in my opinion. I’m assuming the scrambler has a rounded bottom and it will be a night a day difference just sitting in the 3 waters. Thanks for watching and the comment.

I have the big fish 105 and I love it, it's very stable and comfortable I've floated rivers for 6 hours and had no complaints standing or sitting very pleased with it and the quality of the boat very sturdy

That's good to hear, the Big fish 105 is the one I went with. I have not paddled it a lot yet but would have to agree that is very stable and comfortable. Thanks for the input and for watching.

i have the bigfish and i like it. but havent tried other kayaks so not sure. the seat is real comfortable. I want to put the striker 4 plus cv in it like the one you reviewed

Thanks for the info, comfort is top of my list. The seat looks and feels like it would be comfortable in the 3 waters. And I am planning to buy a separate transducer for the kayak so all I have to do is put the head unit on when I am fishing out of it. I appreciate you watching and the comment

@@ArkansasFishingVideos they claim 3 waters is made in the same factory or by the same people as feel free. but the big fish does not have the wheel in the keel. honestly the best way is go to a kayak store and they should let you test them. for the price i think big fish is the best deal. the seat does adjust but its mostly high and low. feel free have more control on the adjustment, just wasn't worth the price difference for me. also the big fish is all open except the storage for fishfinder battery. so it doesnt have hatches, but i dont want them, and ive heard most get water in them anyways. just get a dry bag for stuff that must stay dry. i like open so i can access without fumbling around hatches

I agree will all that, if I could get the Feel Free seat in the 105 it would be perfect.

I have been pretty happy with it but probably will add the rudder because the back end does tend to drift. Will do a full review after I have paddle it a little more. It’s not my primary boat so I’m certain it will be fine for what I’m using it for. Thanks for watching and the comment.

How is the paddling compared to other kayaks? My concern was the effort used to paddle around a small lake/resivoer

+AcousticSoul1989 I haven't paddle a ton of other kayak other than a Wilderness and a few Walmart ones buts it's no Ferrari in the water. That being said I have fished a 800 acre lake and a 6,700 acre lake and had no problems. It paddles fine even in the wind, I fish and paddle from the high position and don't feel like it wears me out. Getting the right paddle length with help, my local store helped me with that. @@ArkansasFishingVideos Thanks for the info! I do have one more question. Being an akward 89 pounds is it quite simple to get it on and off the vehicle? Or did you buy a cart to assit with the transportation? I drive a small Hyundai Elantra and currently use foam blocks for my yak.

+AcousticSoul1989 I haul it with my old Chevy Z71 and easy to put in the bed of the truck. It does have molded handles on the side and I have carried it 20 yards or so to the water and it's not to bad. The seat does not come out so it would be hard to flip it above you head to put it on top of your car. But picking up one end and resting it on the top then sliding it up on top of the car is doable. If your on Facebook search for the 3waters kayak owners group tons of pictures and info on there for all kinds of stuff.

The bonafide has everything you need and some but it says made in America but feels like it's made in Bangladesh it's super flimsy it feels like the plastic isn't strong enough that's why I wouldn't get one
