I grabbed my curling iron by the hot rod and burnt my hand pretty bad, I quickly ran cold water over my hand then immediately put vaseline on the burnt areas. I didn’t experience bubbling, or pain, the wound healed beautifully.

I’m addicted to Vaseline! I use it all aver my face after I do my regimen with Tretinoin and I put it on my hands, neck and I only use Vaseline for my lips. Such a game changer. My daughter noticed a big difference after using for a couple of months. FYI- grandmother used Mary Kay extra emollient night cream for over 20 years every single night and I swear, she barely had any wrinkles when she passed away in her 80’s!

I put Vaseline on my nose and around it. Mostly during the winter and allergy season when I’m constantly blowing my nose and dabbing at it with a tissue. My nose peels and the skin around it gets all flaky. It was a battle. No issues since I’ve started applying Vaseline before I go to bed.

If you’re going to spray perfume on the sides of your neck, you definitely need to lay down some Vaseline or other exclusive, like Aquaphor, to protect your neck from turning brown because of the alcohol in the perfume.

For teenagers : don’t apply Vaseline on your face as it blocks the pores and creates acne - from personal experience 😅 (u can apply on lips)

IT LITTERALLY CANNOT CLOG PORES. its molecules are too big to even get into the pores. if you have a negative reaction to vaseline its most likely because your skin was dirty before putting it, or you have skin thats sensitive to petroluem jelly (amazingly rare).

Vaseline is like Franks redhot sauce for the body. You put that shit on everything. I mean it. I have dry skin damn near everywhere and this is perfect. I put it on my scrapes and cracked skin and not only does it heal quick but it relieves pain and make it more comfortable. I also have fast absorbing Vaseline lotion I used for my legs and arms because of the hair.

The puffiness one is so true. I noticed everytime i dont apply it under eyes, i wake up with puffy eyes but when ii use it there is little to no puffiness under my eyes.

i forget that perfume has phthalates and this is actually a really good tip. one way to stop ourselves from exposure to toxins by using vaseline as a barrier. at least i think it would function in that way lol maybe i’m wrong and vaseline won’t stop it from seeping into our blood stream 😵‍💫

Absolutely not. Coconut oil is extremely comedogenic and provokes/inflammes acne. Every ingredient is unique, always.

My experience: i used ro buy at winter NUX honey lip balm, because it worked well. Till I decided to read the INC List and realised it mostly contained paraffinum. So i bought Vaseline and it works very very similar at a fraction of cost.

Applying Vaseline under your eyes or other places on the faces during the day is only for people with short hair 😅. Iff you try Vaseline on your face during the day you will have thoughts about either shaving your head or trowing the Vaseline in the trash 😂

i used to put vaseline on my lips the whole time till somebody told me, if your lips are dry its cause you didnt drink enough. i started drinking at least 2 L a day and never had dry lips again. i know in winter its not cause you dont drink enough, but even during the winter i dont have that problem no more.

I just hate that I’m going to put a throw away substance from petroleum on my body. Research how they make petroleum jelly and how the petroleum companies didn’t know what to do with the throw away product and how thrilled they were to be able to sell it.

@@laura309 pediatricians recommend Pedialyte to infants and small children knowing that it is artificially sweetened too. My point is, Why aren't these doctors demanding healthier products or educating the public so the public can demand companies make better products? Other countries have banned a lot of products and additives going into daily items. The US needs to be doing it too. Aloe vera and shea butter are better to use.
