I never comment, but this is genuinely my favourite channel on KZfaq. Mostly because it never feels like you’re trying to be a KZfaqr. You’re not doing six or seven takes of a shot, or getting ready for the camera at 5am. It’s just try hard workouts, food appreciation, and an honest reflection of your personal life. This is Cody at his best.

I ran my first mile in like a year the other day. Was it hella slow? Yes. Was I dying from my stupid asthma? Also yes. However, it still felt good. Next stop, Iron Man lol. Thank you, Cody. Love you so much. Choo choo!

Respect, i never ran then started and I’ve been addicted since. Before i could run a 5k under 30 and now i ran a ultra marathon and a sub 20. Takes time sure but it’s worth it stay after it bro 🙌

i've been watching codytrains since the beginning, fully expecting myself to sit down and watch with whatever snack i had lying around every single time. been dealing with depression for about nine years now and i'm only 21 and i've never been able to keep working out once i started bc i hated myself so much. but a few weeks ago i made the decision to start going to the gym again and i haven't fallen off yet. i'm taking things slow and i've eliminated all pressure, telling myself that i should be proud for moving my body even if it's not the longest or most intense work out. i hope to find the same joy you experience in working out soon, cody, but thank you for being an inspiration in the mean time. and for everyone reading: you don't have to be the best at working out to make it worth it. give yourself some credit and celebrate the little wins, because getting some movement in is better than nothing

Im 14, starting running last month, and just completed my fourth and final 5k race of the season! a few weeks ago i couldnt run 2km without having to tell myself out loud not to stop and then walking one lap later and now I run 5ks just because and plan to run a 10k by christmas if not earlier. hopefully a half marathon by next fall and an ironman when i grow up. youre a huge inspiration because none of the adults in my life, other than two guys i see once a year to go camping and my uncle on the other side of canada, are into fitness or running at all, so thank you for the role modeling that i couldnt get anywhere else

Cody I ran my first marathon on October 15th!! It was the Detroit Marathon, which was my grandpa and both my parents' first marathon. My main inspiration was my grandpa, who passed over a year ago. I just started driving, and I was given his old minivan which had a 26.2 sticker on it, and I felt weird driving around a car that proclaimed that I had run 26.2 miles when I had not. But I don't think I would've thought I could do it without your channel. In your first few CodyTrains videos, you were talking about your "I could never do that" mentality, and I kind of felt that way too. So thanks, Cody ❤ (btw, my mom made a poster with the codytrains logo to cheer me on, along with the words "choo choo," "we ascend together," and "energy is everything")

i've been struggling with my weight and body dysmorphia the past three years. I've had bouts with eating disorders, successes, and relapses. I struggle with social anxiety and the main thing keeping me from working on myself is leaving the house. After watching these videos and seeing Cody talk about his fears and anxieties but heading straight in to his workouts anyway has given me so much courage. I've been angry with myself and my situation the most recently but today I woke up and just went on a run. I feel so much better. Im proud that I can run more than 3 seconds. Im so excited to get back out there and do this everyday. Great stuff Cody you've changed so much since this channel started and it gives me hope seeing you so happy and energetic.

I ran my first ever 1/2 marathon on Saturday!!!! Before I ran cross country in high school, I thought I couldn’t run more than a mile. Then I proved myself wrong. As an adult, I thought I couldn’t run more that a 10k, but you helped me realize that I wouldn’t know unless I tried. This sounds so corny, but thank you so much for making me push myself and helping me realize my potential! Much love! Choo choo everyone!

Ran my first ever half marathon this past Saturday. Ran it 45 minutes faster than I had anticipated. Admittedly, I choo chooed my way up those steep hills. Thanks for this channel- you’ve inspired me to start seriously taking care of my health and introduced me to the joys (and often time pain/misery) of long distance running. I feel like I’m becoming the best version of myself. Down just over 50 pounds with no signs of stopping. Thanks man!

I almost never comment on KZfaq videos but feel like I owe it to Cody to comment on this one. Once upon a time I could barely run 1 minute without getting out of breath and this month I ran my first ever half marathon. The last 3 miles were touch and go but if anything it’s channels like Cody’s that A) motivated me to sign up in the first place and B) motivate me to sign up for another one and smash those last 3 miles next time. So thank you Cody, please never stop this channel, I’ll be here every week to watch! 🙏🏼
