@GYPSY KING FURY Yh. He doesn't train as much anymore you can tell if you watch his videos from a few years ago he looked in much better shape and he looked stronger. Jeff Chan from MMA Shredded is a professional MMA fighter and is much more well versed in everything. I think his videos are more clear than fight tips.

Tot0's phone Saka Well it started on the football pitch, I tried to resolve everything but he was ready to legit kill me. So he got a cheap shot on my face and I immediately got my guard up and went into my stance and evaded out of the way. I dodged a lot of his pathetic swings and threw some heavy hooks to the body whilst getting hit myself. I kicked his calves and kept jabbing his face until he started bleeding from the tooth (this was like 40 seconds into the fight) After he got me on the face with a couple of shit hooks with no technique (didn’t really hurt) But I got angry and took him down and started to elbow and pound him. He was finished bleeding and exhausted. But then his mates jumped me and the teachers split it up, but I survived!

I like those drills they're fun. I would suggest though for the first one, do actually punch your opponents. Nice and light but it makes more sense to actually feel for the strikes
@charlesbell5500
@charlesbell5500 5 жыл бұрын
That drill is designed to stop reactive takedowns. If the defender were to fully punch, there would be a split second where his hand would come back to his guard, and if the attacker shoots at that point, it would be easier for the defender to stop it. By constantly throwing little fake punches, his arms are away from his body for the majority of the time, decreasing the window of time during which his hands are close to his body. It's a great drill to learn how to stop reactive takedowns.
@youngwarrior9362
@youngwarrior9362 5 жыл бұрын
@@charlesbell5500 that's a really good point. I mean in terms of a real fight if you try to punch hard and the person shoots you'll need it but yeah maybe try both ways
@charlesbell5500
@charlesbell5500 5 жыл бұрын
@@youngwarrior9362 Yeah, in reality, if you fully commit to a punch and your opponent times a shot perfectly, it's almost impossible to stop. That's why GSP and DC always land their takedowns, they both use reactive takedowns. But it's still a good drill to get used to that feeling.

Hey Shane l was wondering if a workout was good for losing weight, I call them half suicides because I couldn’t find a name for it and suicides were the closes thing to it, so basically what I do is I start at one end of my yard and sprint down to the other end, I then walk back so on and so forth, the way that I’m thinking is that it’s a mix of cardio and H.I.I.T because I go from 80%-100% and I get a small active break by walking, I started just last week and at first I couldn’t get past 8 minutes but I’ve added a minute a day and I’m up to 13 minutes tonight. I’ve also made it to where it’s fun for me by bringing a medicine ball into it and I would bring it down to one end, leave it, whenever I go back bring it to the other side and leave it there and repeating the process to pass the time. If you or anyone has any thoughts on this it would be much appreciated
@tokr72
@tokr72 5 жыл бұрын
I think it sounds like a great routine. Shuttle runs is what I call them. I generally do a range from 50-80% when doing shuttle runs. Not quite full sprints but faster than jogging. Kind of a gliding tempo.
