Maybe they've tinkered with the formula, or maybe the way I apply lipstick helped (on top of freshly applied & blotted lip balm, then in a couple of layers with blotting in between), but I haven't had the same problems with this lipstick - for me stayed put through drinking and eating with an even fade. I have it in the same beautiful shade and it's performed so well it's going to be my wedding lipstick!

Firstly! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I adore a bold lip on a bride (I wore a deep magenta myself😉) Secondly, I wish I had read your tips because I’m sure it would have had better performance 😞

Thanks… I wish I loved the formula. It is very similar to CT Legendary Queen and I prefer the feel of that.

I was just looking at these. I was about to buy the No Angel color. But now I’m not after watching. You did a video comparing Pillow Talk to other brands. You compared it to Covergirl Trending. Pillow talk made my teeth look yellow. I purchased Trending, and love it! The color worked so much better. Felt like it had some brown in it. So thanks for your videos. They are very very helpful!!!

I’m so thrilled. I loved Trending. Sadly the one I had the color was off so I decluttered but I’m glad you got a good one. It’s a nice high end formula without the price tag😉

I have been very excited about the release of this product. I am glad to get your feed back on this because I normally do not care for matte lipsticks, but I wanted to try it because I LOVE Nars bullet lipsticks! Well... I guess not now.

Do you have any good liquid lipstick formula dupe recommendations of this shade? It's one of my favorite shades that I'm having a hard time duping it in a liquid lipstick formula 😭 Gingerbread girl is discontinued 🥲

Have you tried the NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment? They have a shade called Vain that is similar. You can also try eBay for brand new gingerbread girls. I’ve had good luck that way. I’m just not a big fan of liquid lip, so haven’t tried that many brands for that finish. Good luck🍀

These are so awful! The worst lipstick I have ever tried! They are going back! I actually like the new Dior! These are way way more drying😡

Yup. I know. I was so mad too. The Dior for me I think weren’t great because fragrance dries my lips further, it’s just a reaction I have, so between the formula and fragrance, the outcome on my lips wasn’t much better. I think of all these newer lipsticks that are transfer proof and matte, I like the new Stila ones best. 👍
