It has been a few months since I last did a knee friendly workout so I am excited to share this 30 minute knee friendly full body dumbbell standing workout with you all!! :) As requested, the workout itself is 30 minutes and the warm-up and cool down are 3 minutes each so the workout is 36 minutes overall. Also, it is both a standing warm-up and standing cool down!
This standing full body workout has NO squats, NO lunges, and No jumping! So, it is a true knee-friendly workout and apartment-friendly :) postpartum and pregnancy friendly strength training workout as well!
Try this workout 2-3 times a week and let me know you progress with your strength!
I hope you enjoy this workout that will sculpt and strengthen your body!
EQUIPMENT: I am using 10lbs in this workout but you can use more or less than me depending on what you have!
WORKOUT DETAILS:
first, we will start with a 3 minute warm-up:
- 30 seconds for each exercise
- 6 exercises
- 30 second break before workout
then, we will go into the standing knee-friendly strength workout with weights:
- 40 seconds on, 20 seconds off
- 3 rounds
- 30 second rest between rounds (feel free to pause for longer)
finally, we will cool down for 3 minutes:
- 30 seconds for each exercise
- 6 exercises
