30 minutes ab workout to target the rectus abdominus muscles, the obliques and the strengthening of the core.
The timer will be on for 50 seconds of work, followed by 10 seconds rest on between each set!
All you will need to follow along is your mat!
The pace is slow. Aim to perform each rep as best you can! Reach as high with a crunch, lower slowly. With leg lowers, lower to suit your ability where the lower back maintains completely pressed on the mat.
Draw knees to chest at any point you need to pause!

SIDE PLANK LIFT
HOVER TAP (same arm on mat)

ALTERNATING HOLLOW TUCK

LEG CIRCLES (switch direction each rep)
HIPS UP & DOWN
ALTERNATING HIP DIPS
SAW 360° (switch direction each rep)
Once in a while, I love to spend that bit longer duration on some specific core and abs. This is perfect combined post a main workout or even post a stretch and mobility routine.
Be sure to breath throughout, brace core and try to relax!

I've been doing this work out roughly once a week for nearly four months. I cant explain the difference it has made. The first few times of doing this workout, I couldn't even finish it, and today, I still haven't mastered all the moves especially the plank twists where I struggle to hold my balance for the duration, however feel so much stronger and less grunting and groaning. Amazing! Thank you so much.

I have a feeling Caroline actually reads my mind. I needed an abs workout this week but they are either too short or too long. So I worked arms and full body but couldn't do a 10 min abs after them. This one is perfect for today! Thank you.

love the "no chatter" format. just pure, clean workout. All the exercises where my back was on the floor hurt my neck to hold it up, unfortunately... but that has been the case for years.

Whew! 30 min of abs with Caroline is rare, but so good! Liked this a year ago never said why. Love that there were 10 sec breaks and great variety, even some good arm-strengthening work. Fab as always!🤩🌺⭐❤

Caroline, the fact that you posted, made my day! I just did your 1 hour dynamics and isometrics workout which was superb, I enjoyed it so much and I noticed how stronger I have become. Brilliant, superbly planned workouts, nice change to your training. Yes, this week is all about listening to my body and doing my favourite sessions. On Monday I did sprints and pump workout from epic 2 - I am sure you remember those complexes 😂 Then the next two days I did posterior chain and unilateral leg day. So far I am feeling amazing and ready for whatever has Caroline planned for us. But although I am enjoying it, I trully miss chatting to you guys about how you find the workout and how it went for you. @@gerimulvany9585 Hi Geri...no I haven't been to the gym. The university Sports Park which is where I went is now open again...but as I am semi retired and working from home I don't go to the campus. Also I couldn't desert Caroline! I do miss some of the class instructors...I keep in contact with them through facebook and I'd like to see some of them again for a class at some point. I've never been that keen on the actual gym...I can manage without that. As with most things in my life it's the people who matter most to me! Have a great day! Matthew

I found my happy place… Epic Heat, repeat. What I noticed during this ab workout is how my core strength has improved. After 15 months of Caroline's workouts there has been a dramatic effect in every part of my body. I have always been fit but my level of fitness has increased ten fold. Strength training has proved enormously beneficial to my running and, I’ve been injury free during the whole year. After decades of a range of fitness classes where I was never encouraged to try to do a full push-up, I am now able to do them. Amazing. All down to Caroline Girvan' supportive encouragement - to try, even if it’s just 1 or, 2. When I do 20, I feel so proud and strong. Believe in yourself. You can do this. Yes, it’s hard. Yes, it’s a challenge…but you will feel epic when you achieve even the smallest of your goals. Well done, everyone. Ever grateful. Thank you, Caroline.

I finally understand that old adage 'mind over matter'. If we believe we can do it. We CAN. The variety in Caroline’s content is, I believe, the to your increased level of fitness. @@melinda5610 Hi Melinda, isn’t amazing how we can develop strength? It isn’t just physical, it extends to our mental strength too. Exercise is good for us and, in so many ways. It challenges us to push ourselves, to overcome our fears, insecurities even, overcome them and, celebrate them. I love that we are able to experience this physical and mental strength in ourselves. I especially enjoy celebrating and, sharing in the of achievements of others, here in the community. Keep up the good work! Have a lovely weekend.

My schedule is off this week so I just did superior shoulders and the add on last Wednesday 🔥🔥🔥and just finished this abs and core. I had to modify these kinds of work out due to back and neck problems as a result of a car accident in 2013. Having said that, I pushed through the first half but I quite enjoyed the side plank lifts. Have a great weekend and thank you kindly for your positive words!

I had an amazing medical team and still working with my awesome physiotherapist (he was a member of the medical staff at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games). I’ve been put together so life is great and so grateful for everyday!!! I thank you again for you kind heart! Enjoy your training as well and see you when Caroline is ready for us in the next phase.

@@matthewalmond4688 Hi Matthew... Glad to hear you! I loved these 30 minutes abs.... Thanks to Caroline, I realized how important it is to have core stabilization and strong abs... For all the exercises!! for example I could not do the push up well.... Now I realized that the secret is all there, CORE STABLE AND STRONG.... In addition to strong arms of course!! Also in our daily is very useful.... I no longer have back pain!
