If you are new to meditation and want to develop a meditation practice? If so, then this video is for you. People always approach me about wanting to meditate more, but they are not sure where or how to start. So I came up with a 21 day meditation tracker and also made guided meditations/silent meditations to help you get started. I wanted to take the guess work out of it. All you have to do is to download the FREE Meditation Guide, pick from the meditation options and start meditating. It’s that simple! If you can, bring a friend with you and get started together. I was tired but i exerted myself to sit and now i know i will sleep. Been a fulfilling day. More productive than usual. I feel like something is melting away or shedding. Keeping my seat. Working with and seeing others with a deepened compassion. We all suffer. The practice helps me see this and i don't wish to bring intentional harm to anyone. I decided this week i am going to listen more. Being with people with an intention to really see the person's. The bigger picture. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 . much Gratitude to you.

@@nickkeomahavong01 hi, nice to hear from you. I hope you are doing well. I had a lot of trauma resurface so i attended to that. I have a pattern of cocooning or running when this happens. Not all unhealthy though. Ptsd is powerful in that it allows your body to tell you what you need. I go into a mode od survival. But i worked with inner child. I listened to what my body was telling me. So i got back in to my fairy garden creations. Takes me to a safe space. Where i would go as a child. I am planning to do a rype of stay-cation retreat soon. It will involve a week of meditation: sotting, walking, self compassion. Art for healing, yoga and qigong. If the weather warms enough i will sleep outside in my hammock. I will mix it up. I have just been accepted into the chronic pain clinic. Starts early july for five weeks. It is a highly respected clinic with a team of 8 professionals working together. And it a 10 min walk. Blessings to you my friend. I have not forgotten you and do plan to come back and work with mefitation amd your much appreciated support. My genuine appreciation for u and all that you offer the world. 🙏🙏🙏🙏😄😄😄

2ndrnd; DAY 21! I. Am doing the last day on the 1st of the month. I was exhausted but intended to do last day yesterday 😂. Got home late after a long day. Sat down for a rest and to eat. 😂😂😂 and fell asleep.. I am laughing about this a lot because i see how much more at ease i am instead of thinking negative failure thoughts. And well i did have negative failure thoughts but they did not hook me. I can see them. I am thinking of the 'laughing buddha" ornaments i have seen over the years. I am more at ease. Working with not talking and more listening has been interesting and good. Insightful. Will share more insigjts after i meditate now. 😴😴😴😴🙏🙏🙏🙏😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💞💞💞💞💞💞

This is exactly the benefits of meditation and having a practice. I'm beyond proud. When you meditate, NOT talk about meditating, but actually doing a practice, you develop the skill of observation and mindfulness. You learn to put space between you and your emotions. You detach. This is great!!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

@@nickkeomahavong01 thank you. While i sat and came back to the breathe the anger turned to tears. I was sobbing on a bunch of out breathes and some of the out breathes my moufh was wide open and the silent cry was going outward. It was heavy and intense when i drew my breathe i. Again i would cry to the point of silent cries again. Like a baby when it looks like they are out of breathe and then they breathe in with a heavy sound. But i keep coming back to my breathe and the crying eventually ended and i felt calm. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I am pleasantly surprise that i am doing this! I also know at my core iwant and know i must do this. It is like ,this is priority, and i love the strong feelings i get with this. I am experiencing a lightness at seast many moments throughout my day along with my struggles. Really seeing more the habitual patterns and this is good. I feel more open and notice when i am assertive there is love and compassion for the people i am with. I notice when i beat myself up and i do my best to come back to the breathe, to "take my seat" . may you experience peace and inner joy! ✌🙏🙏🙏🙏✌

@@Janewomanpower BEAUTIFUL! BEAUTIFUL! BEAUTIFUL! You're getting it! With meditation, you need to make time. Everyday we shower our body. Bad day, good day, busy day... we shower our body. So we need to train ourselves to do the same thing for the mind. Everyday we meditate and shower the mind. It gets dirty so we need to make it a habit. 😁😁😁 keep pushing!

I fell asleep before i got to meditate. It is 8:30 am now. I am going do this practice now and one when i get home from my swim this evening. I plan to focus on some chores and cooking today. I cook in bulk and store food in the freezer for easy access. I am seeing this more off self care than a chore or task that ifeel negative about. Now it is shifted to prioity for me because it is self love. I am deserving. This feels good.

@@nickkeomahavong01 yes i do have a group but been struggling lately to go... This i know will help me to enter back in to the sangha. I know the importance of the sangha. When i am alone meditating i remind myself that people all over the world are sitting for the same purposes. Oneness. 🙏🙏🙏

Didn't get yesterday done. Feeling un-well. Just want to cocoon. Feelings of anger and sadness at injustices i see around me. Need to reflect some. May need to do your guided meditations until i feel i can sit in silence. Any insights are welcomed. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@Janewomanpower give yourself some time to feel your feeling, then let it go. I find that if I allocate a set time, it allows me to move forward and not carry it throughout the day. Observe your feelings but try not to attach. Everyday is a new day. Start new and don't look back. Each day you have an opportunity to make new choice. Don't get stuck in analyzing the past. It'll just drain your energy.

This 3rd round. I am going to continue to observe my non talking. I will attempt to do one hr once a week. I will do 2, 30minute Sessions with a 10 minute minfulness awareness walk in the middle. I may mix it up and do half hr sitting and half hour outside walking. I'll see how it goes. I would like to meditate upon awakening.(preferable early morning). But for now i will aim for when i rise each day if i can. Observations around not talking verses talking: i talk when i am anxious' i talk because i was taught that my voice was insignificant and i was struck down quite often for having an opinion and not carrying the opinion of family whom i felt inferior to. So when i staryed to find my voice, the need to speak became strong. I don't regret it. I now know that settling in and speaking with true/intentions are more impt. Listening. Deep listening with my heart opening up i can hear more deeply without being triggered by my own stuff. The heart opens. I give space for others to talk and share their pain. Grasping my opinions is of no use. I know i want to speak and speak up when necessary and with right intentions. I know i sense a mellowing when i let go if i don't get my time to speak. May we all speak our genuine truth and continue to uncover the true nature of reality by being truthful to our true selves. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌✌✌😂😂😂😴😴😴

Wonderful. Great insight. Just remember to take things easy and be gentle with this practice. You're integrating a lifestyle so slow and gentle wins the race. Slowly collect a tiny bit more happiness each day. Check in to see if you are fully relaxed. That's most important.

@@nickkeomahavong01 thank you for this reply. I have to remind myself not to get rigid with the all or norhing thinking. I am "out of sorts today". I got caught in a snow storm of sorts. Not the worst one . a couple of bags that i was carrying got a bit too heavy in the winds. I was at my swim before that. A combo of sore muscles and a bit fluish feeling. I rested all day and slept. I am well enough to meditate for today however. 😄😄 ps: i was quite minful of my walking yesterday. 😂😂. I was noticing my frustrated thoughts and coming back to breathe. Plan to check out a video or 2 of yours tonight. Loved the one on equanimity. Gonna lisyen again and the first gem that pops out at me, i am gonna stop the video and contemplate that awareness and or insights. Best to you. 🙏🙏🙏 grateful to you and your offerings to the betterment of the world.

@@nickkeomahavong01 the continued practice allows me to see my true emotions. I am feelings a low lingering sadness and some anger and hurt. But just working with being with it . i see why sometimes i need to cocoon and run by distancing myself or closing myself off from people and the world. But i am gonna treat this with kindness. There is a lot of unlearning to do. 🙏🙏🙏

@@nickkeomahavong01 thank you! Yesterday i went for my.swim and was noticing my thoughts: my judgements, fear, sadness, anxiety. And reminding myself if they were triggers and coming back to the hear and now. One particular situation was while i was at my swim, going to the steam room and chatting with this guy and feeling afraid and then getting in the pool lane and he came into the same one and after when i was doing my water weights he stood by the lifeguard, etc. Well my thoughts were fear and anxiety. I felt creeped out. I just paid attention to my thoughts working on separating the storyline and fears and coming back to my breathe. I live in a small city. It is common to say hi to someone or strike up a conversation. But this was making me uncomfortable. I also told myself it was ok to be aware and careful realistically. But not allowing my fears and thoughts to carry me away by triggers. ✌✌🙏🙏 if you have any thoughts on this i would appreciate it.

@@Janewomanpower oh yea, in these types of situations, I would stay on the side of safety. Listen to your gut intuition. I'm glad you're safe.

@@nickkeomahavong01 yes. Another benefit is your intuition is heightened. Well i should just speak to my own experience. I think we are trained in many ways to deny our intuitive nature. And somedays it can be tough for me because i am sometimes around people who cause much suffering knowingly and unknowlingly to others. I try my best to look deep and see or imagine their suffering and i am guilty of course in my own ways where i have or can cause harm. I do my best depending on the circumstances to hold myself accountable. To see mine and others humanity. And there are times here where i have to practice kindness toward myself. May our suffering dawn as wisdom.✌🙏🙏🙏✌

@@Janewomanpower this is the right attitude. It has to be sustainable. The same way we take a shower for the physical body, we must shower the mind. Make it easy and simple. Just a daily practice.

@@nickkeomahavong01 i wanted to share, that despite my depression i am noticing that i am doing more. There is different degrees of struggles but i am managing more things. Things are starting to not feel so overwhelming. I am prepping to cook more food tomorrow. And over the last few days i am getting more sorting and decluttering done! I smile on the inside more if that makes sense. And now i rhink of impermance from your talk and i smile more. Accepting impermance helps to let go of "holding on".
