@pixeldoc7119, you do realize that these are medical procedures and not strictly for our enjoyment. Plus, she works extremely hard on multiple patients daily. Having them posted in any form is a bonus to us viewers. It would be hard to remember to turn on record each and every time as well as storing these videos drains precious battery capacity.

if a patient consented, be good to see a procedure conducted from outside the ear too. I.e seeing the patient and practioner and the tools and so on. Definitely be interested in this approach for irrigation.

What is the point of showing these on line if you don't finish them. The very first one left wax and hairs deep in the ear. If I were that patient I wouldn't be at all satisfied with that. The last one as well was far from completed. I understand leaving a little wax, but only if it is feasible that it will come out and only if it is healthy looking, not dark or in the recess right before the eardrum. Leaving a reservoir of oil in the recess isn't healthy either. And if you can't get skin to come from an area, why not try starting a little further back, not the same spot over and over and then give up. It's not good if you can't visualize the ear canal, there could have been an ulcer or a deep collection of wax and skin under that. Not the best work.

I always say the same thing. Some audiologists leave some wax in there because they say it’s not hurting them. No if I had any left I’d want it removed

I've never heard the sound of the suction before today and it almost sounds like nails on a chalkboard at times 😬 does the high pitched sound cause any patients discomfort? or is it not as bad because they're blocked up?

It's painful ! I've had a cleaning ONCE and I would never do it again... The succion hurts, the sound is horrible and vibrate through your whole head, traumatic experience for me. The doctor knew it would be painful because he told me so at the start but I didn't know it would be that bad

Too much use of the suction in areas along the ear canal exploring with another tool would be more worthwhile. I found that I had dozed off a few times... Still thanks much for taking the time out letting those who want to see this type work in progress---
