That kind of training is really helpful. You can also practice Harai Goshi, Osoto, Ouchi; all kinds of stuff. We used to do it all the time.

those korean rubber tubes are epic. If you can get your hands on them they work better than bicycle tubes. Altho bicycle tubes costs virtually nothing... while the bands he is using is about 10 bucks each... Personally I found training in Korea is hella hard compared to Japan.

@Yahweigh I dont know the hapkido(korean) name for it. But in judo they call it morote seoi nage
@swiftjeff14 жыл бұрын
still over the back but not popping the legs up. I have to get REALLY low to do it though. The technique is described as holding their arm and turning down to the side to look under your shoulder, then they just seem to roll over. I love this stuff!

@GabrielKai Do you hear that sound when the trainees fall? do you see how they bounce from the ground. IT's not wood its something elastic, something softer, even though it looks like a floor due to poor video quality...

yeah it is, look at the reflections form the lights you can see.

Is there a modification if we want to train ippon seoi nage instead of morote seoi nage

so the way u learnt u dont have uke over ur back? cuz whenever i do it i have them on my back or hip
@hegebox13 жыл бұрын
@stanthema both of those are seoi nages. In judo this move is Morote Seoi Nage and your move is Ippon Seoi Nage
@NATOxCOMBATTERE12 жыл бұрын
how to find this kind of tube?
@pentin1production15 жыл бұрын
even if it was wood those korean are so strong they put a gee to make sure they dont break the floor lmao
@JudoLife10 жыл бұрын
ForeArm position in throw could get damaged elbow. Incorrect in morote seoinage. The ippon seoinage all good! Apart from this point the entries and method seems great.

that's a great exercise, I had to do it for speed, and better technique. And if he breaks the fall correctly, it won't hurt. Actually, if you try to put the person on the floor or do it too slow, will hurt.
@swiftjeff14 жыл бұрын
the way I learned it, yes. I learned to follow a corkscrew downward with my body. In this video, they appear to be popping uke over the back. 3:08 for reference. Watch his legs. I learned a different style.

@Altimit141712 жыл бұрын
PS not wooden floors. They got the lacker over it to look like wood

I was confused for a second, in ju-jitsu we call this seo goshi. When we do seo nage we put our right arm under the uke's right arm and lock it. Besides that it's the same (perhaps this comment will save other ju-jitsu practitioners from confusion haha)

@oskar90pl ...LMAO!....That's what I thought at first.All I could think is ''Damn,that's gotta hurt.''...lol
@ASanchez8313 жыл бұрын
@kooldude121858 I respectully disagree. if it hurts when you fall, work on your breakfalls. I weigh 230 lbs. that is a lot of weight coming down when I get thrown. In order to decrease the chance of injury, I have to fall correctly.

I respect the master, but I won't ever do this training for the simple reason that the "ippon seoi nage" move does not require more than 2 kilos of force when properly executed. Now, I have to confess that the training for itself looks interesting.
@megg196312 жыл бұрын
en el fondo ya todo esta inventado.el taekwondo no es mas que un estilo de Karate evolucionado en Korea como el hapkido es una sintesis de judo y aikido todos aprendemos de todos
@shadowolverine13 жыл бұрын
it is not right to throw the student on the hard wooden floor, are they too poor to put mats on? the kid is young and all, but cannot take more of these throws back to back...
@kooldude12185813 жыл бұрын
Guys if you do any seoi nage perfect it dent hurt,if your yuke throws you with a seoi and it hurts it means he or she did it wrong, unless your on a concrete floor
