-30° Winter Camping Trek | 4 Days with a Baby | Ice Fishing, Snowstorm & Cross Country Skiing: It was our baby Hudson's first camping trip and first winter camping trip to boot! Our 3-year-old son Wesley has already been on a number of hot ent winter camping trips and even in the Yukon! Family camping with kids has its challenges but we brought two good folding saws (buy one through the link below), good for camping and winter camping in the wild, as well as a large portable wood stove and a canvas wall tent for hot tent camping. With plans to do a little fishing for Splake, a Lake Trout, and Speckled Trout hybrid, We trekked into a backcountry site, my wife Tori cross country skied in on one of her first times cross country skiing. Our husky dog North joined us of course and he's just a puppy but he pulled a toboggan and is learning to be a good sled dog. Check out our wall tent set up as well as the delicious meals we cook up along with the beautiful backcountry solitude we experience on this awesome trip!

Tory and Jim, your children are very blessed to have parents who thrive on adventure. The kids will experience wonders that most people never imagine. I'm not sure if you pay any attention to these. But here I go.. I just wanted to thank you guys for bringing me peace in this ridiculous world. I live in NH USA its so beautiful here! I'm a single mom, I lost the love of my life a few years ago and life has been about me getting on my feet, providing a roof ( apartment) over my boys heads working 12hrs a day at a very stressful job. Blah blah blah no sympathy needed its just life. BUT I just wanted to thank you for showing me such an incredible part of the world, (maybe I will get to explore someday) I feel like I'm on an adventure with you both. It just takes me away to a happy place where everything is going to be OK. I'm OK. Love each other every day, like it is your last and congrats on your success in being able to do what you OBVIOUSLY ABSOLUTELY LOVE. U INSPIRE ME Thank you ~shelley

Watching Tori multitask, caring for little ones while helping set up camp brings back some sweet memories (which, admittedly, probably felt a little less sweet at the time.) It was likely on a camping trip with a husband and three young children that I developed the philosophy of “someone’s gonna cry around here but it ain’t gonna be me!” All my kids are grown now and love the outdoors and camping. Every minute of effort was worth it.

You two deserve round of cheer!! It is hard when little one's have fussy time's and yet all before you know it they grow into the next phase. It's so worth the extra gear and effort. Yes we do get cranky with each other but in the end hug and a I love you makes it all good. The snow falling with the winter wonderland as it's back drop is so peaceful . Precious family

That was really good. Can't believe you caught a spalake! Always learn something new from you sn Ted. An get a laugh. That was a tuff haul in. My family has sinus problems and sometimes we can't breath. Theres a thing called a Vicksinhaler. I've used it probably 40 yrs. I don't use it much, just when i can't breath. I bought it for my brother an dad and they love it. Maybe it would help Wesley. It's not a spray. It's more like a wax. I been carrying it in my pocket all this time. Hardly ever use it but when i do i swear it saves my life. The doctors think I'm a nut because they want me to take those spray things that probably kill you. I can't even go to a lung doctor anymore because they are NUTS! I went to 2. One time each an all they cared about was me breathing that puffer thing an quit smoking. I was trying to quit smoking anyway but after those 2 nuts I said hell with it. Anyway that video was so good! Thank you an Happy St. Patrick's day

I'm thrilled to see Wesley sitting up unaided! My son has exceptionalities as well, and I remember how joyous it was when he could sit up on his own! No more laying down all the time! It took a lot of physical therapy, but he eventually was able to stand, and even walk! He's in high school now, but watching your journey with Wesley has brought back so many of the challenges. Keep it up Little Wesley! You're a Rockstar! ❤️

@Jim Baird - Adventurer I know how much work it is, but it's 1000% worth it! Keeghan walks independently, and is able to speak as well. The "experts" told me he would never walk, talk, or be able to attend school, and recommended I put him on a waiting list to be placed in a long term care facility. I chose not to listen to them, and he does all the things they said he would never do, and I love the person he is growing up to be! Hudson will be a huge help to Wesley also since he will most likely try to imitate what he sees Hudson doing. Anyway, I could ramble on forever so I will shush lol! I absolutely can't wait to see what he accomplishes in the future! Keep up the great work y'all! 💙

I love your videos. Those with Tori and the boys remind me of our family camping trips in the Montana Rockies when our girls were little. You don’t sugarcoat the challenges of camping with the wee ones, but you and Tori find the joy and make wonderful memories with Wesley and Hudson. Your teamwork is inspiring and Tori is a total warrior woman!

I have a 4 year old and a 4 month old and I could never even imagine that work that goes into a trip like this! It is wonderful to see you take the kids with you (even if it makes things that much more difficult)
